I love my results - the healing process was easy with minimal bruising

I consulted with a couple of doctors/plastic surgeons/ocular surgeons about ptosis. My right eyelid is a little more closed and there was more skin or the right eyelid. This is what I learned from my consultations: Ptosis repair involves repairing the muscle underneath as well as the skin on top. 100% symmetry is not attainable in most cases even after the surgery and most patients need at least one revision.

Dr. Jaiswal in my opinion, due to his young age perhaps, was more progressive in his approach. He outlined the cons of ptosis repair considering that my case was very mild. He recommended to not touch the muscle and only remove some skin. The healing process was easy with minimal bruising. I went back to work after 3 days with tinted sunglasses.

I changed the medical tape with a double lid transparent tape to hold the thread. It's been about 8 months now and I am very happy with Dr.Jaiswal's work. The surgery is under local anesthesia, I was awake the whole time and I was not uncomfortable or scared. He works fast and has a "light hand", thus the minimal bruising and fast recovery.
