I’m in my mid 40’s and started noticing my eyes looked more “tired” not as open or wide awake. I called Dr. Bloom. He looked at my eyes and we scheduled an in office upper eye lid surgery. The procedure was super quick, an hour, with no pain!! His injections to block all pain was amazing. Stitches came out a week later with minimal bruising and swelling. Everyone who sees me now says I look more refreshed. No one can tell it was surgery. It looks so natural! Friends say it took a good 10 years off. I will have fun playing around with some eye makeup now since before the skin covered my entire lid. Thank you Dr. Bloom!

Hi, I think your dr. did a great job! Can you tell me how many days you were bruised? and did he do the surgery under local anesthesia? were you awake all the time?

Hi, I was bruised for a good week. Like not go out in public. After that I was able to cover up the rest. I was fully awake during the procedure, took an hour, charted with Dr. Bloom as he did his thing. I was also swollen. I had to wear sunglasses at home not to scare my kids :)). But so worth it. I generally don’t like to wear a a lot of makeup, and so some mascara is all I need to look fresh and awake.

Looks very good and not overdone. Straight local has been the standard anesthesia for at least decades. My problem is lower bags and tried filler but it was poorly done and dissipates quickly. I too have been tired of using eye make up so have stopped until i look decent.

People thi k the results of cosmetic procedures is all aesthetic but my neck feels more comfortable since my chon liposuction which I had no idea about. So I learned from you that the upper eyelid results you can feel also. A nice side benefit for you .

Thank you! I generally don’t like to wear too much make-up. And before and afters are made to see results of a procedure not cover them up :)

You look amazing! I'm also in he same age range as you. My surgery is next Tuesday 10/5/21 and have no idea what to expect, very nervous bout swelling and bruising.
