Eyelid Lift and Phenol Peel, Hoping to See my Eyelids Again

One week post revision

WORTH IT$7,000
I am so much happier now with the results! I have some bruising still and a tiny dog ear at the outside end of each incision, but for one week PO, it looks amazing. He took almost as much skin as last time and removed some fat off the upper eyelids. I had a few days of solid swelling and bruising, but I think it will be well worth it!

How was the recovery?
Pretty quick. I had no bruising the first time, I had some for 4 or 5 days this time. The swelling lasted about the same amount of time. Its only been a week and a half and you can't really see the incision at all
Hi! I'm looking for your earlier review about your "botched" experience--and can't find it. Can you post the link?. We live in the same area. Glad your Dr. Amadi process went well; I have heard great things about him too. Most of all, kudos to you for saying something after the initial results. (It's so hard to do; why is that?! ) Cheers & thanks.
You look great. Was this done at an ambulatory? Was was the pain like?
Blepharoplasty is not painful at all.

Revision 5-2-22

I went for a follow up and mustered up the courage to tell him I was disappointed in the results. He was very kind about it and said he wants me to be happy and he sees where I have more skin he can take off. It will cost me $600 and I have to go through healing again, but I am hopeful this will work this time.

It’s good that you told him that you aren’t happy. I agree with you that you had mild improvement, but for the price you paid, you really should have a more dramatic (positive) result. I paid $2400 for upper bleph only with local anesthesia. I’m only two weeks out but I think it looks good so far.
Good luck with the revision…
Thank you. I am much happier this go round! How are you healing? I can barely see my incisions
Thank you so much. I’m glad you had a good outcome!
I think it’s bs that you have to pay anything more.
I wasn’t super happy about it, but that is the way plastic surgery works unfortunately
Was the phenol peel done at the same time as the surgery.
Yes, its why I'm so red and swollen in the first round pictures. I'm not sure it did much though. I just did the plasma pen a couple of days ago, we shall see if it does anything

He said I still have a fair amount of inflammation so he gave me steroid cream to use for the next month. I will be using it twice a day the first week, once a day the next, then every other day for two weeks. It should help with the deep lines in my under eye

I notice more eyelid showing now. There's definitely a difference but not drastic. You look more refreshed too. Thanks for sharing your experience!
Thank you, I feel a bit better now about it
What do you call the procedure you had done? I’m not sure?
Obviously it was something with you eyes….. I don’t see stitches
Never mind I just found where you explain what you had done ✔️
The stitches stayed for about 5 days. I don't think you can see them because of the swelling
You still look a little swollen. Hopefully you will be happier when the swelling goes. Good luck.
