WORTH IT
This review has been long overdue for Dr. Goretti Ho Taghva. I had wanted to do Upper Blepharoplasty for years ever since I can remember.
I have double lids to begin with, however they droop over to the point where I look mean. I was boring with the RBF look. No matter where I go, my family, friends, or strangers would ask me if I'm why I'm so angry, or sad looking. Inside I felt none of the above but fine.
Of course my family and friends doesn't see an issue but I did this surgery for myself more than anything.
I decided to go ahead and do my surgery once I was having issues with extremely oily lids where it would really irritate my eyes daily. Went to 2-3 consultations and Dr. Goretti Ho Taghva stood out because she understands what I wanted and was confident in her work.
The surgery was fine since I was on light anesthesia I believe. The recovery was tough because I did not like sleeping on my back. She even did the surgery with the lash extensions on but I would highly advise against that now. During recovery, that was no bueno, because there blood crusted hard on the lashes. Extremely gross and took forever to break the lashes apart.
Had surgery Wednesday and Went back to work Monday but wore glasses. My eyelids were still puffy and one person noticed.
Super happy with my eyelids 2 years in now and I'm more confident in myself and can tell that no one comes up to ask me if I'm angry or upset ever again. What a crazy change ! Hope this review helps and I'll post before and after Pics soon.
