Today is the 2 week mark. I still have slight swelling mostly in the morning and worse on the right but it goes away throughout the day.
The under eyelid incisions look great, can't even see them. The upper lids are still healing. I have been massaging them a few times a day because they are a little bumpy which I was told to be normal for first 3 months. They seem to be getting better slowly. My blood eye is almost better there is still a slight red tint, it looks blood shot at this point. Still have bruising under each eye, slowly getting better everyday.
Today is the first day I can wear eye makeup and I'm looking forward to it. I've been wearing lots of cover up for the bruising but nothing on the eyes.

I was wondering how you were doing. Glad to see your post and WOW what a difference those days made. Are you happy with your results so far? I too still have swelling, not much but a little under each eye. I'm also swollen first thing in the morning. I have not been wearing any makeup at all. I think I will be allowed to wear it starting tomorrow, and I think I can even start wearing my contacts again tomorrow. So glad things are going well.
Thanks for the update, you're results are looking great!
Your eyes look amazing!
You are looking great.

One week post op
It has been one long week since the surgery and I feel like I have taken a step back. My right eye is still blood red and very stratchy today, a have more swelling today then I have in a few days and the sutures above my eye have become sore. I have a call into the doctor to see if she has any suggestions. I'm becoming impatient with the healing, and the beginning of the week I was seeing big changes from AM to PM, this has slowed way down. I'm seeing very little difference from day to day and today I feel a step back. I have wearing a hat and sunglasses everywhere I go, including work. I work with the public so I can't go around scaring people with all my bruising and bloody eye. Hopefully big changes over the next week.

Hang in there! You’re going to look gorgeous with those baby blue peepers!
Since you are inviting comments, I hope you’ll accept this in the spirit I make them: to offer help. Perhaps it’s the photo that is distorting your eyes, but I see lower lid retraction in both your eyes, particularly the right. There is also significant roll out of the lower lid margin in both eyes. Both of these are know complications of lower bleh surgery.
It happened to me. I’ve spent 3 years trying to put my eyes back together and although improved, I’ll never look normal.
Please don’t let your surgeon operate on you again without getting a second opinion. See experts like Guy Massry (Skype consultations) or Ken Steinsapir ( call Faith and send photos.)

I believe it's the photo and or the swelling. I've taken most pics in the morning, I'm usually a bit puffy still in the morning. I thought the same at the beginning but it looks fine once the swelling is down. I'll post more pics in better light and later in day.
Definitely go and have her look at those sutures immediately. The dissolvable ones were no bueno for me. The sooner they are out the better. You may start feeling better and having less swelling and irritation once they are out. FYI, I also still have somewhat of a bloody right eye. It was my entire eye for the first 2 days, but I'd say it's less than 25% now, but it does seem that it has stalled, I thought it would be totally clear by now. I too woke up with my right eye feeling scratchy this morning. I put a warm cloth on them and put my eye drops in and it went back to normal. I'd ask if the doctor can squeeze you in tomorrow. Don't worry, healing is such a weird thing.
My red eye is lightening up, few more days and it will be better. I talked to the doctor she said to soak my eyes in a warm shower and lightly rub them. I did that and the sutures started to pop out. I started lightly pulling them and they are slowly coming out. Starting to heal nicely finally! I'll post more pics in a few days.
That's great news. I'm happy to hear it's going well now. Happy healing!
