I had a lower and upper eyelid surgery 5 years ago when I was 35 years old, probably you would say too young but I had some tiroids problems and I have big eyes. The surgery was in my original country performed by a plastic surgeon and a opthalmologist. The upper eyelids and the left lower are perfect, but in the rigth eye you can notice that the fat is still there making a bag. It happened because in the left eye they took off all the fat, and in the rigth eye, they spread the fat. Anyway probably next time I will travel to my country I will fix my rigth eye, not big deal.
The surgery was kind of painfull because I did not want total anesthesia, that means I was awake all the surgery. At the beginning I was desappointed completely with the results but after 6 months I started to see a good result. I could compare my photos before and after and there is really a big difference. Now I am 40 and people say I look like 25. I read all the reviews about this surgery and I dont' know what would happen to all this people with this bad results.
Now my next step is to try Botox for my fine lines in my eyes (crowfeet). And don't forget the secret: a happy heart makes the face cheerful, but heartache crushes the spirit (proverbs 15:13)
