Fourty nine years old and now I look 10 years younger.

Recovery is going well. As the swelling continues to go down I love the results more and more. I am very glad I did the surgery. I am 49 years old and opted to have surgery on my eyes to get rid of the droopy eyelids and crows feet. Everyday I looked in the mirror or saw a picture of myself I could only focus on my droopy eyes. I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Sozer to talk about options and immediately scheduled my procedure. I still have a bit of swelling but I am loving the results already.

Yes, I had bruising that lasted about 2 weeks.

Did you do anything to try and minimise it, or did you just let it heal in its own time?

I put ice packs on and used the arnica cream provided by the doctor.

Hard to say... Since I don't know if it would have taken longer with out. Dr. said some people bruise more than others and some heal quicker than others. I took vitamins and ate pineapple two weeks prior to surgery because I was told that would help with bruising and swelling. I tried most things to help with the after surgery healing. Weather it helped or not I don't know.
