Natural upper eyelid surgery result & tension in my forehead is gone

It has been a month since my upper blepharoplasty. My problems were droopy eyelids and years of constant discomfort with tension in my forehead and scalp because of trying to hold my eyes more open . After learning about the matter I ended up looking for an oculoplastic specialist and was convinced by the experience, research work and reviews of dr Ilke. My whole process from contacting her to the operation and healing has been such an easy and positive experience. Dr Ilke is a lovely personality, she has been a fantastic support from the beginning and all through the recovery time, is extremely focused in her work making sure of every detail. It also impressed me how she personally took time to answer the questions I had before and after the surgery. Also Maria from international patient’s team at the hospital did such great work organizing everything with the schedules, airport transports and transports between the hotel and the hospital, translating and helping with the paper work and taking care of me the whole time during the operation day at the hospital. With the operation itself, dr Ilke carried it through with such skill, the incisions were very neat and I had very reasonable swelling and only minimal bruising around the eyes, mainly during the first 4-5 days and under eyes practically none at all. I was so surprised how easy the recovery was. There were no pain, no actual black eyes, I used arnica gel for the little bruising and could comfortable cover everything with sunglasses and eye glasses. Also I used the ice pads during the first days according to the instructions but otherwise I was able to go for little walks etc. right from day 1. The stiches were removed on day 7 and by that time the incisions were healed nicely and the positive change could be clearly seen. Dr. Ilke did amazing work, I just love the beautiful result and also the tension in my forehead is gone, couldn’t be happier. Thank you Ilke for your wonderful work and all your support!
