Blepharoplasty, facial fat transfer for tear troughs & recessed midface

Very soon after posting my review Dr. Kulbersh contacted me after office hours and asked me how I felt about my results. After a brief discussion he invited me to return to speak in person.
We reviewed my appearance before and after the procedures and came to the conclusion due to a couple of factors that I didn't get quite the improvement I was hoping for.
So to see how I would appear with further fat injection he offered me a FREE filler injection that very day. I literally walked to a room next door and before I knew it an experienced professional filled in the areas I had fat injection prior to give a little more fullness.
These results while temporary are precisely what I had hoped for going in all along as my tear troughs are hardly existent and my cheeks are filled in to compliment that.

Blepharoplasty+Facial Fat Transfer for Tear Troughs and Recessed Midface

I have had severe tear troughs all my life and have finally come to a place in my life where I could get them fixed.
I visited Carolina Facial Plastics for a consultation late last year after researching various offices for weeks on end. I eventually landed on CFP because their before and after pictures seemed closest to what I was after and being only a hour and a half away they were fairly local. The office was pleasant and the staff seemed competent.
Dr. Kulbersh examined my face and told me what he could realistically do. He confidently said the tear troughs could easily be taken care of and the flatness of my midface could be helped a little. As for other things such as eye shape, it was out of his hands. I received a quote for both a lower blepharoplasty and a facial fat transfer, and for each together of which he strongly recommended. After much deliberation I decided that I would go with the doctor's recommendation to ensure the best possible results even with the significantly higher costs. It should also be noted that Kulbersh only performs facial fat grafting with full anesthesia which adds to the cost if seeking that procedure alone.
The day of the procedure went smoothly. Everyone involved had good bedside manner and I was out of the office by noon.
Pain was minimal even when not taking the supplied painkillers and the swelling wasn't that bad. The first night there was an alarming amount of blood that began to pour from my eye but Kulbersh ensured me over the phone that it will be fine, of which it was. After a week much of the swelling had gone down and the stiches were removed. During the following three months of the procedure I was sure to maintain a caloric surplus at all times in order to best help the facial fat transfer take. I even took supplements to increase the production of human growth hormone to help produce as many adipose stem cells as possible. Most studies show that for fat transfers the repair phase lasts around 3 months followed by a slow dieoff/etc. for another 9 months. Facial fat transfers which involve smaller amounts of tissue will obviously be shorter. Regardless since nearly 4 months have elapsed I feel that my results will only ever get worse than what they are now so I may post a review.
First off, my tear troughs remain. That was the only true request I had, everything else was merely supplementary. They are slightly more shallow but are still far more prominent than average. I made it exceedingly clear to Dr. Kulbersh that too much fat transferred is better than too little as now I have little to nothing to show for my efforts. I believe he was aware of this as he didn't even care to take a follow up picture of me during my post op visit even though he took the effort to take a before shot. I came across many cheaper doctors but I decided to pay more for a higher quality job. It seems that I have made a lapse of judgment.
