Still See Eyeballs but You Guys Judge

Nice doctor and staff, but can’t tell me if fluid is there, still fat, or what.. He’s always be honest and said he doesn’t know if bags will be gone , just better. He came highly recommended so I have it a try. I’ve always seen great results with this procedure but my eyes look almost the same as before . Doctor says he can’t do anymore as he doesn’t see bags, but there is either fluid or still fat there. Seems like he would feel to see if fluid or fat. He says eyes will be hollow if he takes out more fat because he can’t see any bag or bulge. Nice staff but I feel like I should be told if it’s fluid or still fat. Disappointed as I still look tired. You guys be the judge.

There are so obvious.. he said he would do a free second surgery if he saw the bags or bulges .. they are there but don’t know if it’s fluid or fat. I get a second opinion in 2 weeks. Very upset with the doc bc you can’t tell me the bags aren’t there.. I’m not asking for free adjustments either. Just tell me what it is and how it can be fixed. He says there is none, in looking for perfection .

Yes see other doctors first for opinion bI have appointment w 2 different surgeons next month to see their option for bumpy my lower lid, & will documented. Probably what your 1st surgeon meant no eyebag but loose skin below eye because the fat removed it might happens like ny case, my skin sunken like I have illness. But I feel yout surgeon still should responsible for the procedures that he thought it make better but is not.

Have you tried some filler instead ? It might soften the circles a bit - I have the same problem and it helps. Best of luck.
May 30, 2020
No but I might have to bc 7500 dollar later I still have bags

Yes unfortunately I still see them as well. Sometimes you may have to look for MDs in more popular cities. Like Houston, Miami, CA. Nd make sure you see transformations that you like. Small town plastics are somethings super expensive and still can't give you the look you want

Thanks , I’m glad I’m not the only one that sees this . I look just plain tired and full of lack of sleep

Hi Landenjames, I'm in the same situation. I was happy at first but within a few months noticed the hollows were still there. I had the fat repositioned, the surgeon went through my lower inner lid. I had gone to three highly recommend plastic surgeons and opted for the one that suggested an operation which in my mind was the least invasive because I was very nervous. Some time has gone by (a few years) and I'm hoping to revisit getting another surgery. I went to a few surgeons for consults, including the doctor who did my original surgery. I felt more confident and asked many more questions. What i found interesting during the process is all had a different approach to how they would do the surgery. What I have concluded is that, and I may be wrong, is they recommend what they know how to do. In my search I'm looking for a doctor with speciality training in eye surgery, who does these type of operations regularly. Ask a lot of questions, ask for before and after pictures. I even requested to speak with a patient who had the same surgery. Now I need to get the courage to proceed! Good luck to you.

I’m sorry you have to go through this to... do costly to continue to fix.. but I hate looking tired

I still can see the bag, what method did you do ? Lower lid inner incision or outer incision ?
May 31, 2020
Lower bleph with just removal of fat. I asked so many times to do a skin pinch as I felt it was necessary for optimal results. I’m going get a second opinion. The sad part is I’ll have to pay Thousand to get it done the right way. The frustration is the Dr continues to tell me my eyes look amazing. He sees no swelling or bags. I know I see them.

Probably try fillers with hydraulic acid (Restylane) easier to absorb in skin. But you have to consult with a doctor to be sure. I did lower blepharoplasty in Korea that I was only asked them to do "under eyefat repositioning" with inner incision, but they did outer incision below lash & removed too much fat, now below my eye sunken I look older than before, because too much fat removed. I don't recommend lower blepharoplasty with outer incision below lash, because might cause "lower lid retraction" common happened in some people.

Not sure about skin pinch. Because Korea clinic did aggresive surgery to me included lift my mid cheeck, skin pinch (I never asked about it) & now only 2 months I can see my skin even saggier than before. I think to do skin pinch have to make outer incision below lash ? And that cause lower lid retraction for some people, I see scary results. I'd try fillers to fill my sunken lower lid & make it full look.

However I dont see the difference on your pictures before & after. I like before actually more fresh look. Maybe ask the surgeon to fix it or responsible with the result.

I don’t see a difference either. I’m scared to do another surgery . I don’t know if I even what this same doc to fix Bc he doesn’t see bags at all. It was such a waste of money bc there is no difference and know I have to lay thousands to redo or go to fillers. Thanks for sharing your experience. I go in 2 weeks to get a second opinion

Disappointed

landenjames

Very nice staff and fits your schedule easily.

My experience was very disappointing as far as results. Always get two consultations with two different doctors because it is important to find a doctor that is on the same page as you throughout the process. one doctor may not fully see understand your concerns and get the results you were hoping for. Find a doctor that confirms they see all your concerns and has confidence that they can give you the results from the start. This will help avoid disappointment and a revision procedure.
