Prominent eye bags 7 weeks post blepharoplasty! Help!

Thanks. I'm really sad and depressed right now. I wanted to have this surgery done so many years ago and only to end up looking even worse. This surgery is supposed to correct my bags and not to make it look uglier.

Well, I think the last pic looks good. I’m having a hard time telling if I can see bags on the last pic. Are u maybe referring to dark undereye circles? I’ll be 1 month post on Thursday and I swear i feel like I’m looking worse. I feel like as the swelling is going down, I’m getting sunken eyes and they look dark. I’m really hoping it’s underneath bruising, but idk. Maybe you’re still swollen? Does it hurt when you rub them? I hope they go down and u feel better. Think about it, worse case scenario is for u to have to redo it-which u can still get the results you want. I’m also bummed about my upper lids. They’re uneven. I keep hoping (again) that it’s swelling, but I’m almost positive that it is not. At least with the top, I know I can gwt that one eye fixed and it should be good. Do I want to redo all this crap? No. But I also know surgery is always a risk. Do I know she’ll leave it right? No. But I’m hoping she will. Now, if it isn’t bruising and it is that she took too much of the fat, then I’m screwed. I went from swollen eyes, to sunken eyes. My point, don’t get depressed. Besides from the annoying part that u may need to redo it, u can still get it fixed. The question is if u trust him enough to let him redo it. Because to be honest, I also feel iffy about letting her redo mine. I’m like, “Why the hell are they so off?” You know what I mean? Feel better, there’s still a remedy.

Thank you so much for your insight. I appreciate it. Actually with the last pic, that's how it looked like 10 days post op. However, on the 11th day onwards, it started to look more prominent again. The 2nd and 3rd photos, those are the latest photos I took. I'm actually hoping they're just swollen. I keep comparing my result with other people's progress and most of them have really nice outcome even at 3 ot 4 weeks. My surgeon offered for a revision without any cost but that should not be the case, he should've already fixed it in the first place. Revision in itself means that he hasn't fixed the problem, it's a failed surgery. I came for blepharoplasty to look good and not to look worse. If he's gonna do a revision, I'm not even sure if it's gonna be a success this time. He has 10 years experience, I really don't understand why he failed to correct my undereye issue. This is very disappointing. It's not like it's a major surgery. This could have easily been fixed. Why does it have to happen to me? My self esteem, my self confidence now all gone! I can't be walking around looking like this. This is very unacceptable.

I totally agree with u. I feel the exact same way. Lets hope we both still have swelling and that it’s going to resolve on its own. Good luck!
