Excited but Nervous

I think I may need a touch up. There is a little extra skin at the outside corners of each eye. Wanted to wait until 6 months after surgery to see results. I was getting botox and my injector also mentioned the extra skin. Dr Felder is out of the country until July so I will have to wait and see if he will fix.

I see what you're referring to. It's really not too noticeable, but it definitely should be addressed by your ps! I also had an upper bleph in February. It really makes a huge difference in my makeup application. No more extra skin that gets in my way. Good luck, I hope you get the results that you want. Your eyes do look awesome. Huge!!!
Thank you! One of his staff emailed me back and said he reviewed my pictures and he believes it is because of a low brow. He didn't go out past the corners of my eyes when I had it done. I asked him when he was marking my eyes for surgery if he was going to go out and he seemed very irritated and said "how about I do it the right way". I don't know? Remembering that makes me think maybe he should have gone out farther. Oh well.
Omg. He sounded irritated???? You certainly have a VOICE in this procedure. And, a choice!! You are now addressing the problem that you saw coming!!! But, it is what it is. You most certainly look beautiful and that's what matters!!! Your eyes are just very youthful looking!!!

The day of surgery was like I was talking to a completely different Dr. Then the one I talked to on my consultation. I had paid for the surgery already and drove 4 hours down to Ft. Lauderdale and booked a hotel. I felt I had to go through with it. I think it's still an improvement on the top lids. Even if it could have been better.
I am only a month post but feel didn’t take enough off. I thought a brow lift better idea but he said it not done much anymore because makes people look surprised all the time. I really don’t want to get a touch up! How is it now and did you get it fixed?
No. I never did.
Speaking from experience as you age and loose volume around temple area that skin will fall and change the shape of your eye. Judging from his response he sounds as though he won’t be doing it for free, if that is the case use another doctor as his eyes are not seeing what you see. Good luck

There’s no way after spending time, money, and discomfort that you should need a “fix” after only 6 months. With that being said, he’s the last person you should go to for the correction. His pride and perhaps arrogance will prevent him from collaborating with you so that the outcome satisfies you. If you choose to move forward with the correction, please research and choose another doctor.

Progress

This was taken on February 6. You can't even tell I had anything done. I'm very happy so far. My scars are red and have some bumps along scar but from what I read that should disappear. The laser I had on bottom is still brownish red and it takes a lot of concealer to camouflage but Dr said it could take a few months to disappear.

Picture same day of surgery

This picture was shortly after surgery. I was very nervous during the surgery and wished I had taken a Xanax. I didn't have any real pain. Tylenol is all I needed and that was for a headache I had from being so nervous.

Thank you. I don't have any pain at all. My stitches are a little itcy today.
My facelift is scheduled for February 22, I was going to do upper and lower lids but decided to just do the facelift first.
I sometimes think I want a face lift too. Are you having a deep plane facelift?
You made a really good choice but only doing the uppers (do not have lower with an external incision ever it is a nightmare). You seem to be healing really well.
I looked at your pictures and I think your eyes look great! Maybe its hard to see in a picture.
I wanted a deep plane but could not find a doctor who will do it.
