Simply the Best Oculoplastic Surgeon! Thank You, Dr. Massry!
WORTH IT
Dr. Guy Massry is an exceptional, knowledgeable, oculoplastic surgeon, renowned for his corrective revisional surgery skills. Surgery is a huge deal. In addition to being professionally accomplished, he’s also a brilliant, compassionate, kind and genuinely amazing person that truly cares about his patients! Dr. Massry is direct, thoughtful and takes the time to explain and answer questions on considered procedures, so you’ll be comfortable and happy with realistic outcomes.
A sinus surgery mishap with a different surgeon, resulted in a constant watering eye, so I feel fortunate to have been referred to Dr. Massry for my first surgery, which was a tear duct reconstructive surgery. Any surgery is frightening to me and just the graphic description of a surgery makes me queasy. Dr. Massry’s expert and considerate explanation made me feel very comfortable with the procedure. However, I did my due diligence and read some reviews on Dr. Massry before scheduling the surgery. Not only were all reviews positive, but all mentioned what stellar experiences they had with Dr. Massry. Tear duct reconstruction can be complicated and is often not successful, so I had the surgery with this in mind. During and after surgery, I didn’t experience any pain, had minimal swelling and the new tear duct worked perfectly, so I was extremely pleased and relieved with my results! I attribute the success to Dr. Massry’s masterful skill.
I recently had my second successful surgery with Dr. Massry four months ago. I naturally have double lids and my 62 year old Asian eyelids had gotten quite heavy but didn’t want to change the shape or have that surprised look that’s prevalent in Beverly Hills. I only wanted a very natural looking “refresh”. Dr. Massry recommended how I could benefit from an upper eyelid blepharoplasty, brow lift on both eyes and ptosis repair in one eye. After the first success of the first surgery, I trust Dr. Massry explicitly and am so grateful his honesty and thoughtful expertise and precision. I love that Dr. Massry takes the time to educates his patients on the options available and expectations. Surgery day went perfectly! I had very little discomfort, minimal swelling and NO bruising after surgery and throughout the recovery. After a week, I looked and felt fairly normal with minimal swelling. After the first month, there weren’t visible signs of having had surgery at all, including the incisions at the temples in the hairline. At four months now, my results are such a fantastic improvement and my overall expectations have been exceeded! I feel much more confident, younger and my eyesight has improved. My second experience was perfect, like the first one and I won’t trust anyone except Dr. Massry with my eyes!
I have since seen a family friend who had upper lid blepharoplasty with another surgeon and her experience was unfortunately, completely the opposite. At seven months, her eye area was still red and swollen and she wished she knew about Dr. Massry prior to having her surgery.
Skill and expertise ARE important in a surgeon, to which Dr. Massry has both.
I can’t emphasis enough, how highly I recommend Dr. Massry for all oculoplastic surgeries, simple or complicated. Please book a consult with him before proceeding with any oculoplastic surgery. You don’t want to regret choosing the wrong surgeon after you’ve had your surgery.
