Beware ‘cosmetic’ Surgeons

Had upper and lower bleph with under eye laser last year. Was unable to close one eye fully for about 6 months, which led to dry eye syndrome and damage to my cornea. This really messed up my vision. I’m now being seen by an ophthalmologist. Thank god, the scarring seems to be resolving slowly.
To add insult to injury, the aesthetic results were very disappointing. I still have a bunch of loose, saggy skin on my upper lids (particularly on the outer corners) and the area below my eyes is still puffy and wrinkly, but now bumpy and uneven. I’ve consulted three plastic surgeons about a different issue and they have all remarked on this without any prompting from me.
I would not recommend this doctor. I very much regret not going to a board certified plastic surgeon. I knew better, but I guess I was impressed by her fancy office? The sandwich board outside on the sidewalk should have clued me in
