Facial Disfigurement and with Permanent, Irreparable Damage to my Vision

I’ll start by saying I believe Dr Stacey’s character is sound and that he means no deliberate harm by his surgery – I’m sharing this review that’s based on my experience with him and the surgery he performed, nothing personal.
Dr Heath Stacey ‘sold’ me the operation by making it sound like it was no big deal – I was on the fence about it but he made it sound so risk-free. He told me that my Blepharoplasty was an ‘easy, simple surgical fix’. He told me I could expect a few days to recover and made it sound like it was nothing in terms of surgical risk. That wasn’t the case, I have been left with facial disfigurement and with permanent, irreparable damage to my vision. It doesn’t get much more serious than that. Within days I developed serious symptoms and other than being invited back in for a chat I was not given any medical help or advice, he was clearly out of his depth. As the symptoms got worse and it was clear Mr Stacey had no idea what to do, he told me to go to another surgeon and that they would have to treat me, Dr Stacey and the company simply cast me out and told me I needed to find my own help, I was speechless. It’s going on a year now and I have seen numerous experts since and spent thousands in trying to fix his work but it looks like my vision will never come back. I’m now with a leading ocular plastic surgeon that specializes in Blepharoplasty procedures in NYC, he does over 450 of them a year. His viewpoint has been invaluable. Even with all his experience in this procedure, he told me that you always have risk and that complications are very common with Blepharoplasty procedures – the key is finding a surgeon that knows what he is doing and knows how to act fast and fix complications when they come up. I had issues from day one and it took Dr Stacey weeks/months to tell me I needed to seek professional help, I would have been potentially able to catch the issues before they got to the critical stage with proper treatment immediately. I’m furious about that point alone. I strongly suggest if you are considering surgery with Dr Stacey you take second and third opinions – I’m sure there are more people with complaints and serious issues but only a few brave ones post their experience publicly.
