Wanted eyelid surgery for some time. My eyelids were drooping and making me feel old. I went to visit Dr. John Rowley. He did a fabulous job making my eye lid surgery look natural. He performed the procedure in his office under local anesthesia. It really was an easy procedure. I did feel some tugging, but that was it. The toughest part was the numbing process with needles. Even that was not bad. Afterwards, I went home and laid on the sofa. I filled the prescription pain medicine, but did not use it. I had my procedure in the morning and about 4 PM I had a terrible headache. I took four Advil and that was it. I never took any other pain medication again. I did have an ice pack that I had to place on my eyelids. Day by day after that, I watched my black and blue eyes slowly return to normal. I have a six week appointment coming up in another two weeks. It is four weeks and I am very pleased. I read that my eyes will continue to improve for up to 3 to 6 months. I would absolutely recommend this surgery and definitely recommend Dr. John Rowley. He has wonderful bedside manner. He cares about his patients and is a fine plastic surgeon! He also removed a squamous skin cancer from my leg last summer and the scar is minimal

Your upper eyelid crease is perfect! I want to go see this doc for the exact same procedure! Saving him to my surgery research favorites list! How are your eyes feeling? Any dry eyes or numbness? Please consider posting more pics so we can see your final result. Thank you ☺

Astrid, Dr Rowley is amazing! I would go back to him again in a heartbeat. I have dry eyes but I also have itching and it’s my allergies, nothing from the surgery. My eyes feel a bit numb when I try applying mascara, but I’m sure what time that will go away. I look at my pictures now and I need to do something about my neck. It’s hard to get old
