UPDATED FROM kwangg
1 year update
Here’s an update on my eyes 1 year laterz I honestly cannot believe how amazing Dr. Taghva is! My eyes are exactly what I wanted! I get compliments on my eyes sooo often. She was able to fix the horrible work of 2 different surgeons. I’m extremely happy with my results and I highly recommend her to anyone who’s looking to get eyelid surgery.

She Completely Transformed my Life. Amazing Surgeon with Promising Results!!
Dr. Taghva’s revision on my eyes changed my life!
In 2017, I had an upper blepharoplasty with medial epicanthoplasty (not with Dr. Taghva) and my eyes turned out extremely uneven. My right eye crease was significantly smaller than the left and my medial epicanthoplasty was pretty much non-existent. I wanted a dramatic change in the inner corner of my eyes with my tear ducts showing a bit. Soo, 1 year later I went back to the same place and they performed a revision for me with a different surgeon at the same facility. Big mistake, my eyes turned out to be even worse than before! My eyes did not fold properly which made me look like I constantly have ptosis on my right eye. Also, I was abnormally swollen for 3 months post op!! Of course, how can I expect a surgeon to fix another surgeon’s mistake. It affected my self esteem so much to the point where I was becoming depressed due to the look of my eyes. I hated looking at my eyes everyday in the mirror. I had to wear heavy eye makeup every single day to cover my insecurity. At that point after 2 failed surgeries, I did not know what to do anymore. I felt hopeless..
I was so devastated by the previous surgeon's false hope, telling me it is going to recover and will get better. Every night I went to bed hoping that in the morning I will get a little better. I looked at it so often that I couldn't even tell anymore, so I began taking photos everyday to document my recovery. My 2 previous surgeons continued to tell me it will get better. I needed to find someone who can fix the failed-work of 2 surgeons. I did a lot of research and found that Dr. Taghva had a very high success rate. Being in the vulnerable depressed state that I am, I had to take a leap of faith.
One of the best decisions I ever made was going to Dr. Taghva for my 3rd surgery. I'm really glad I did because she truly transformed my eyes. When I saw my eyes in the mirror after surgery, I wanted to tear up. Despite the swelling, my eyes already looked 100x better than before. My right eye had a beautiful crease and I finally got my inner eye corners cut the way I wanted. It's only been one week and my eyes are already healing well. Although this was my 3rd procedure, I noticed I was significantly less swollen than my 1st and 2nd procedure. Hooray to that!
I am also a nurse who works in the plastic surgery industry and I can truly tell that Dr. Taghva is a caring, wonderful, and a detail-oriented surgeon. I realized maybe the most popular surgery center isn't always the best. It's important to find a surgeon who can really cater to your own face. The most important aspect in choosing the right surgeon is by meeting them for your consultation. You can tell a lot by a simple consultation. During my consultation with Dr. Taghva, she was extremely patient and willing to listen to all my questions and concerns. It did not feel rushed at all. I could really feel that she truly cares about her patients and I value that more than anything else.
The reality was.. I was shattered physically and emotionally, with 2 failed surgeries and I hope nobody will need to ever feel this way. I am so happy I trusted Dr. Taghva because she truly understood the look I wanted, found a way to undo the work of 2 surgeons, and restore my happiness.

Horrible experience you have been through. I wish you had posted pictures after your 3rd surgery so we all could see the great job this surgeon did. So glad you are happy with the results this time.
Hello! Thank you so much. I’m extremely happy with my result and I can’t wait for all the swelling to go down. I did post some photos actually. Are you able to view them?
Please post more pictures after couple months. Thanks
I have problem look like you, now I have to find a good doctor to do 3 times. Please if you don’t mine , could you post new pictures. Thanks
Hey love! Sorry for the super late reply. I just posted an one year update. I’m honestly so happy with the results and I’m extremely satisfied with Dr. Taghva’s work! Plus she’s super sweet and nice. I highly recommend her.
did dr put fat in your eyelid or cut it? You look great. You deserve it.
Yes, she had to add fat into my eyelids because the previous surgeon took out too much fat. Thank you! :)

My body tends to heal slow and bruise easily. Dr. Goretti did such an awesome job, by one month, I already looked really presentable! It was still a bit swollen at a month but I would say 70% of the swelling’s gone.
Pretty much by 2 months, 90% of swellings gone. :)
Definitely not a year! Just to be safe I would say give yourself at least 3 months.
