Eyelid Surgery - Blepharoplasty
Aged 48, daily headaches and tired strained eyes due to drooping lids. Took vision field test with Dr Maeve O Doherty and insurance agreed to cover it. Dr Maeve and her nurse were extremely reassuring and the surgery took under an hour, under local anesthesia. Waited in recovery room for 45 mins with ice pack and was driven home by friend. Continued to use ice packs 15 mins each hour and rest for the day. Some discomfort and burning/raw feeling as one eyelid was especially swollen and didn’t fully close. Artificial tears helped.
