Day 24! 3 weeks and some change

Wow! Feeling really good! My chemosis has been long gone; scar on the right side barely visible. Scar on the left side definitely more pronounced. Last week I didn't enjoy my fat cheeks or looking at my face. This week is better. Not sure if it's still swelling or perhaps over-filling because I hear you lose maybe 50% of fat after a transfer. Everything I see and hear says you really see the "final" product at 6 months so I'm staying patient. But for now I'm already getting lots of compliments like "your skin looks really good!" Haha! I made a little side by side so you can see the changes!

You look great.
I'm so happy for you! I can't wait to get mine done next spring! Any tips on finding the right doctor? And what exactly did you get done? I have the same under eye bags. thank you!
Thank you so much! Are you in LA or willing to travel to LA for this? If you read my first post it has the exact wording of the procedure that was on my surgery paperwork
Unfortunately not. But I live in the biggest city in Alberta, Canada. I have a consult with the best surgeon in my city in May. I will ask if they do the same procedure you had :)
Who was your doctor please?
Who was your Dr
Congrats! we're the same age and I'm also hoping to have this done in the next couple months. Did you/your doctor consider a transconjunctival approach? Have you noticed any difference in eye dryness?
Yes we did transconjunctival approach. My eyes are no longer dry!
Beautiful result! May I ask who your doctor is?

Tape off my face!! Day 9

Feeling pretty good! This morning I did a careful but thorough clean of my eyes and lashes. I don't know if the build up of ointment had been adding to the pesty chemosis but honest to God within the hour both my eyes felt amazing for the first time since the surgery! My right eye feels almost clear of the irritation and the one in my left eye is much smaller!!! Still some swelling and I can see a little bit of bruising now that all the tape is off. My incision scars are so tiny! The one on my right side is barely noticeable! Looking forward to more healing!

You. Look. Amazing! I’m so happy for you. I can’t wait to get stitches out. I took your advice about the eye drops and have been using them since day 1. Do you have another follow up? I think I only have the one on Thursday.
Thank you so much!! How are you feeling today? I have another appointment scheduled in two weeks.

Day 6

Got my stitches out today! That was definitely uncomfortable! Probably the most "pain" I've felt so far haha. My eyes actually felt a lot of instant relief after the stitches came out. I can see the swelling a lot better now that all that tape is off my face. My doctor did put two fresh pieces under my eyes on the way out and told me to leave them there for 2 days. I dont see any bruising (never really did). I still have to keep lubricating my eyes every hour. Feeling so good!
