ORIGINAL POST
Bilateral Orbital Decompression with Blepharoplasty
I was diagnosed with Graves’ disease in 2014, and slowly my eyes started to changed. I starting researching all my options when I came across Bascom Palmer, University of Miami. I had previously visited another ophthalmologist who told me the surgery was too risky, but I didn’t let that stop me. I was determined! Exophthalmus can ruin your self esteem. However, It wasn’t a easy road for me, because I included the blepharoplasty, but it was well worth it. Thank you Dr.Bradford Lee

I am very interested in hearing more about the changes Graves made with your appearance and vision and how surgery helped. Possibly some pictures?? BTW you're a very pretty lady.

I was told the same thing and I told my Opth' I was seeking a 2nd opinion. I had seen countless videos to know, there was something that could be done.
I had surgeries in 2016. Amazing surgeon Dr. Gupta with Kaiser. Now, there's some medication that.s supposed to help.
Happy it all worked out for you.:)
