Picosure laser removal of eyebrows. Chapter two

Hello ,everyone!
I've finally decided to share my experience with you. This is my second time when I try to erase my bad eyebrows and my first time with Picosure lasser.
I was quite impressed.I expected worse. I was thinking that I am going to sit at home for weeks.
Surprisingly, I felt nothing after treatment.
No pain, no blister, nothing...I was even confused maybe somebody did something wrong.../
Than I released that this is the way how Picosure works. The procedure was really fast and absolutely painless. That day a girl from the clinic used a cold air tube to frozen my pain. She also said that I had a good response because immediately after the treatment I saw that the dye in my eyebrows was completely disappeared. Unfortunately, when I came home all the 'orange beauty ' came back to me(((
I don't see any big changes but I could say that eyebrows have become lighter.
Also, I wanted to share with you girls my little secret which keeps me on the positive side.I bought a special dye for eyebrows it is called Henna(see the picture). I know it is not ideal version of my eyebrows and
I am still going to continue with these treatments but it allows me to go to the local swimming pool less stressed. :)

Thank you for sharing your experience! I have a brown eyebrow tattoo I need removed and was debating on q switch or picosure. May I ask where you are located? Also do you know what type of ink was used for your? I hear some have iron oxide and are harder to remove. Thanks! And please keep posting!
I live in Canada,Calgary.I am 100 %for Picosure laser. In spite of the fact that it is quite an expensive procedure in support of Picosure I can say that it is the safest method for today. You can forget about huge blisters, swelling and long rehabilitation (last time when I used Q swich I was sitting at home for a week because of a huge mess on my face...).If only I knew what components were inside the ink ... I hope I've helped you with my advise.
Oh, that must have been so disappointing when the orange disappeared but then came back :(
Fingers crossed you will have some fading over the next few weeks. I looked up about henna brows after reading your post and I see a few places actually do it as a treatment near me - so I may go and talk to someone and see can I get it done in a shape as near as my natural brow as possible with some of the leftover microblading covered up a bit - it would be good for the summer hols. Fingers crossed you see more results from the picosure - keep us posted!
Oh thank you so much for your support.Henna really can help .The problem is it is erased after a week.(
darn it! : (
I just found Realself and I am so happy to find your story. I also had microblading about 1.5 years ago which faded to weird gray/blue color -- very stressful 1.5 years I might add. I have fair skin and warm brown hair. I decided on laser removal so I can put this behind me. Just had my first PicoSure treatment yesterday. Not painful and very quick. One day later, I have red where the ink was zapped, but no blisters, and the skin is totally intact with no swelling. Hoping this redness goes away. I have a second treatment scheduled next month. With so little on the internet about microblading laser removal, I appreciate your pics. Maybe I should start my own thread to be helpful to others.
Good luck! When I had my first laser session the ink seemed 90% gone, apart from some stubborn brown, purple and orange strokes, and the redness over the entire area. A few months later I contacted my tech to ask what I could do to help heal the red skin and she told me nothing, it didn't need to heal as it was ink that had turned red. I have had one session since then and that made almost no difference to the red but I now have yellow blotches where it didn't even seem like I had any ink - urgh! I am now waiting it out to see if these yellow bits fade at all as I can't risk more yellow spreading outside where I colour my eyebrows in (can't leave house without colouring them in). On the upside, it does seems as though the red has faded a tiny bit since that 2nd session (3 months ago now). So - my advice would be to tread carefully. -it is a long process and there may be setbacks - but fingers crossed you will get there in the end. Out of interest - what ink was used? Mine was phi brows and your "fading to grey/blue after 18months" situation is very familiar!
Mine was Everlasting Brows ink. My microblading really only looked true to color for a few months, and then I noticed it shifting. By a year, it was gray, but I expected it to get lighter and lighter and disappear (I was told) which it did not. It seemed to be stuck at that point, and the only way of getting back to my pre-microblading brow shape/color was to have them removed. I'm now 5 days after my first Picosure treatment, and the redness where the ink was has lightened a bit (still also see a wee little bit of the strokes but very faint), but still definitely red. I can cover it with a tedious makeup application. My husband says I'm rushing the process to expect it to disappear faster. I am scheduled for a second session only 4 weeks after the first, but I'm hesitant because everything I read says to wait 6 to 8 weeks, and I have a wedding a week after that appointment. The M.D. has not done many eyebrow ink laser removals, so I feel I'm a bit of a test case.
Do you know if your ink had titanium dioxide or iron oxide in it?
Do you know if your ink had titanium dioxide or iron oxide it in? Thanks!
Oh thank you for advise.Unfortunately, I don't know what kind of ink was used
It is a good idea to share your story as well.

Hi, I think it is better to wait 8 weeks before the treatments because your skin needs some time to recover. You should not be on rush especially if you have a weeding soon. Just relax and have some fun forget for a while about the eyebrows
I also think you should wait until after the wedding. The results of the laser can take a while - maybe they will fade more in the extra 2-4 weeks? And the extra time for your skin to recover is important too. I also think it's important to wait so you can tell a bit better whether what you are looking at is redness because the skin needs more healing time or redness due to the residual ink being red/turning red because of the laser. Fingers crossed for more fading!
Thank you both so much for sharing! I have bad brows I am looking to get removed with the picosure laser! Please post pics and share your progress and it gives me hope!
Oh thanks).Of course I will post my progress
Hi again! I am now at day 18 since my first Picosure laser treatment. The redness is still there, and now some of the gray microblading strokes have come back a little. I don't feel like my skin was damaged at all with the Picosure, and it was the doctor who recommended I come back in 4 weeks. When I go back, if she decides I need to wait a little longer, that is fine with me, but if it's safe to proceed, I'm anxious to get another treatment done. This redness is really annoying to cover every day. To me it seems to be the ink that changed to red rather than damage/injury to my skin. My skin never hurt, blistered, bruised, peeled or anything at all. With all that I have read, it is the Q-switched laser that causes the damage/blistering and possible scarring. The doctor said Picosure will not do that. Not sure if there is a way to add photos on this post, so I will have to start my own story. Hoping all of us who share will help others out there. Also, I do not know what was in the Everlasting Brows ink that was used on me. What does it mean to have titanium dioxide or iron oxide in the ink???

Eyebrows Tattoo Removal. Microblading Removal. Permanent Makeup Removal

Hi, everyone.
I would like to share my story.
I have extremely colorful situation with my eyebrows.)
When the first time I decided to do my eyebrows microblading it was extremely fast decision.I hadn't done any research concerning this topic.
Well, first microblading was not bad.
But
After a year I decided to do an "upgrade".
And that was a total mistake!
As you can see on the photos my eyebrows used to be brown than after refreshing they became dark brown.
After a hot summer they turned into gray.(
Than I made a decision to remove them.
I used Q-swich laser to treat them and from that moment on , I had only one removing procedure.
Now people around me are suffering because they are forced to see my red-carrot- idon'tknowwhatelsecolor :D
Ok, I am also suffering.(
I am planning to do a Picosure removal so we will see the results:)
I am going to public them here.

I feel your pain! keep us posted ;)
Oh,thank you)
Don’t worry! Red resolves with the right laser easily. I promise you this. Good luck!
I hope so.Thx for support)
Hi - have you tried another laser treatment yet? I am also going through removal.of mircoblading and everything I do seems to bring up.a new problem! Laser treatment 1 - got out almost all grey (!) looking ink but left red and in places purple and orange strokes - huge amount of hypopigmentaton (basically a white line through the length of each brow). Laser treatment 2 - no change in the red at all but left with lots of pale yellow patches instead (in places there there didn't seem to be any ink!). These were from q-switched and now I don't know whether to try picosure or just put up with the mess on my face :-(. Hope you're making progress with yours.
I have both picosure, nd:yag and KTP lasers in my practice. MY preference is to use nd:yag firstly on microblading. Nd:yag is safer and is suitable for black colours. I have used picosure previously, and found that the ink breaks down into its component colours (green, yellow or red) too readily. For green, you can use picosure, but if you have red or yellow remaining, you have to use a KTP wavelength.
Hi,yes, actually I tried Picosure laser for my second treatment but the same as you I didn't see any dramatic difference...
Dundanion, that's interesting - I haven't heard of the KTP laser - does it have another name?
So glad to find these posts. I too had microblading 20 months ago that has faded to ugly gray/blue. Decided on laser removal with PicoSure. Had my first treatment yesterday. No pain or swelling and skin is intact, gray/blue ink is gone, but I have dark redness in the areas where the ink was. Hoping this fades in the coming days/weeks. My second Picosure treatment is scheduled for next month. I hope I'm going in the right direction toward complete removal and not just changing my problem to red brows. Patience is not my strong suit. Lol.
