What a difference this has made

WORTH IT
Just adding some photos, I'm just past the six month date. I am so happy with the way my eyebrows have grown in, how I wish Marie & Dr Sciacca had been around ten years ago. I don't need to wear eyebrow pencil any more. I can't stress enough the importance of a clinic that are meticulous about the whole shaping and planning the incisions procedure. My eyebrows are growing in all the right direction and that's down to the care and precision from this clinic. This has been the nicest thing I could have done for myself, it's made a massive difference to the way I look and it's probably the most anti -ageing improvement for the over-fifties. You cannot get the same natural look from micro blading or make up. Apologies for the poor quality of the photos! I have a few small areas that are waiting to start growing but at six months I'm so pleased with the results.

How is your skin underneath? I’m worried about mine as it is pitted and contracted

At six months it's completely smoothed out and just looks normal, but in the earlier months while the grafts were settling down it was a bit bumpy and uneven. I don't know how far along you are from your transplant, but patience is the key with this, remember you've had little incisions made for the new hairs and the skin is going to need to recover... hoping it settles down soon for you.

What about your own eyebrow ? Are they gone before you do the transplant ?

The first photo was my own eyebrows, they stay in place and the grafts are placed around them in the new shape that is created for you. I needed lots of hairs added to the underneath and ends of my existing eyebrows. The hairs you already have aren't removed. I know that a lot of women have an eyebrow transplant after they pluck their eyebrows too much in their younger days for fashion reasons and when they're older it's not such a good look. Eyebrows really define your face, I wear much less eye make up since I did this.

Do u pluck any excess transplant eyebrow regularly so that the excess will be removed permanently eventually

I don't know about other clinics, but The Brow Lift company took a really long time over designing the right shape, so that you don't really need to mess around with it. I haven't needed to change anything. There is no way I'm going to start plucking my eyebrows again after paying for them to be transplanted, I have learned my lesson! I'm finding that they keep a really good shape after eight months.
What you do need to do with transplanted brows is trim them every week, just to stop the hairs getting too long. It's really easy to do.
Most important thing is finding a clinic that will take the time to design a good shape that suits you, then the grafts only get transplanted within that shape outline and there is no excess to pluck.

A Truly Exceptional Standard of Care,

N.T Robin
I had my Eyebrow Transplant on 8/2/22 with Marie-Royce Book and Dr Luciano Sciacca

Marie has such an eye for aesthetic balance and perspective and she took great care in designing the perfect brow shape for me. This is not simply an eyebrow transplant procedure – the initial process of creating the most flattering bespoke shape for an individual is a craft and it was done with such skill and incredible precision.

The clinic atmosphere is full of such warmth and genuine interest in patients, combined with laser-focus on making you as comfortable as possible throughout every tiny detail of the procedure. This starts with the absolute wealth of information Marie has provided with her videos, extensive research and website for anyone out there seeking guidance about the procedure. It’s a very different approach to most clinics because you go into your consultation clearly informed on every aspect of the procedure with transparent advice.

The procedure day felt very well organised, with so many thoughtful touches that were really appreciated as a nervous patient. Dr Luciano Sciacca the wonderful transplant surgeon did the incredibly detailed and intricate work on my eyebrows, with such patience and focus. He explained everything with great clarity. It’s rare to find a surgeon so highly skilled who is also so warm, kind and approachable. his technicians were so patient and meticulous and the whole team worked well together. I left with all my medication, brow saline spray, protective towel, shampoo, information sheets, beautifully packaged for me.

The one overwhelming impression I was left with, is that The Brow Lift team do this work every day, but they genuinely made me feel as if I was the only brow transplant patient in the world – they’re THAT good. I am so grateful this clinic exists and for the extraordinary and exceptional standard of care here.
