I Couldn’t Be Happier.

I had my eyebrow transplant on 22/02/21

I had my consultation with Dr Luciano Sciacca and Marie-Royce. I told them how fed up I was of having to pencil in my eyebrows on a daily basis. I become very ocd with this, that sometimes it would take me over an hour drawing them on, wiping them off, constantly until I was happy with the shape.

Marie reassured me that they’d spend as much time as I needed to get the shape right the morning of the transplant.

We discussed what I wanted etc and I walked away knowing that 100% wimpole was the place I was to get my eyebrows done. Dr luciano sciacca and Marie were so friendly and professional.

With all clinics I read up on , there was never anything about eyebrow transplants where as with wimpole there is a lot on social media (Facebook and Instagram) of patients before and afters and also videos of patients talking about their experience which I thought was great!! and also on their website. Marie had her eyebrow transplant done by Dr Luciano Sciacca and her eyebrows are amazing!!

The morning of my transplant I was an absolute bag of nerves due to being needle phobic and as soon as I sat down with Marie she calmed me down and made me a cup of tea. We chatted away and my anxiety just went away. I suddenly wasn’t shaking anymore and felt so at ease.

Marie had me lay on a bed where she spent her time mapping out a great shape eyebrow that would open up my eye area and at the same time keeping my semi permanent tattoo Within my new brow shape. She was an absolute perfectionist and that is exactly what I wanted. For me it was very important to have someone I could explain to exactly what I wanted and them having a great eye for detail and this was Marie she is absolutely brilliant and knows exactly what she’s talking about. I was so happy with the shape that I kept looking in the mirror and couldn’t believe how much my eye area had opened up! where as the tattoo I had just aged me.

I had previously been to a different hair clinic for a consultation and they said they would draw a shape on my eyebrow and I was totally shocked, they literally just grabbed a pencil and within less than a minute I had this jagged thicker than thick eyebrow and it looked ridiculous. There was no talk of mapping it out or spending time to get the right shape, it was as if my three year old had drawn it! I knew then this was definitely not the place for me....

So after Marie created my gorgeous shape and Dr Sciacca had checked them and give the thumbs up. Dr Sciacca explained everything to me and forms were signed etc

I was taken into a room where it was all going to take place. Everyone was so lovely and before I knew it I had Marie holding my hand whilst I had the local anaesthetic and they all worked their magic and worked so well as a team. I felt so at ease and I must say coming from a household with three children I really enjoyed the peace and the calmness he he :-)

Everything was explained to me each time they were doing something different. If I asked for more local anaesthetic Dr Sciacca would top me up so it was completely pain free. Bernadette (hair technician ) was very professional, sweet and calming. I definitely had the A Team. Once all the hair had been placed within my drawn eyebrow shape it was time to see them!! Wow!!! I couldn’t believe it! In fact I was completely taken back with how different and better I looked. I had done it !!!! :-)

if you knew me, you’d know how bad my anxiety and nerves are going for a blood test and I had just had an eyebrow transplant and it was a breeze!!

Once I had my blood pressure etc taken I went and had some lunch in a nice room where I was able to contact my family and share my exciting news that they were all finished. Marie had contacted my partner and give him enough time to pick me up as he was coming from Chelmsford.

Dr Sciacca came and explained the aftercare in great detail and I was given a bag with saline spray, shampoo for my brows and a few other bits.

Dr Sciacca ...what a great man, very funny and don’t take himself too seriously but is very precise and also a perfectionist like Marie. He spoke about the way the hairs were placed and making sure the whole area had hair and no patches etc and I couldn’t fault him.

Marie had sent me through on WhatsApp do’s and dont’s which was very helpful. Marie was with me through every step of the way, she’s been amazing. Even now the day after my transplant I can send her a quick message to ask a question and she replies very quickly.

All her videos about her journey with her eyebrow transplant and talking to patients that had eyebrow transplants were really helpful and reassuring. Marie just totally understood me and what I wanted and thanks to her I have great shape brows because she spent the time to get them right.

I can’t thank them all enough. I would 1 million % recommend them. What a great team (A Team).

I look forward to my journey with my new lovely eyebrows and will be sending Marie monthly pictures of them so she is able to share them with people that are thinking about having a eyebrow transplant.
