Amazing Service and Better Than I Expected

As a female with very little eyebrow hair and highly dependent on microblading, I was starting to find the results to be very disappointing each time I had the treatment done but would try convince myself that it was because I had not found the right beautician! The results were always thin and washy looking, Ive probably spent around 4k on tattooing. I always knew eyebrow transplants existed but were not a feasible option for me due to the cost, as here in London it costs about 3k. I then started my research abroad and came across Shift clinic in Istanbul. I was pretty impressed with their before and afters on Instagram but were also unsure of whether they were genuine as I couldn’t find any reviews online. However the customer communications with Shift were very professional and prompt whereas I had a bad experience with contacting Estepalace who were very rude in their emails.

I was just so fed up of my eyebrows I decided to take the risk and booked an appointment with Shift. I was quoted £840 (I paid £65 extra for an extra night at the hotel) which included a 3 night stay in a hotel and all transport transfer included aswell as maximum grafts of 600 (300 per eyebrow).

I had the surgery on the second day at medical park hospital. I was pretty worried as I had read a negative review on here about medical Park but then realised that there are quite a lot of different clinics operating there. The clinic itself felt like a luxurious hotel, very professional and clean. I had the surgeon and two others (Abid one of the after care guys and I forgot her name but a Morrocan lady who was my translator/travel buddy) helping me on the eyebrow shape. I was in surgery for about two hours and not going to lie but the injections were pretty painful they made my eyes water.

The aftercare and service was impeccable. Abid and his team provided me with a meal after the surgery and also provided me with all the aftercare shampoos etc. I do have to warn you, my eyes were very bruised and swollen for a good 3 days. I stayed in Turkey for 4 days but even at day 4 I looked abit of a mess when going back home. I would advise getting some high coverage concealer/foundation for the eyes incase as I felt very paranoid at the airport.

I was going to wait until 8 months or so to post an review but am actually quite pleased with how they are coming along. My skin still has darkening and thickening where the hairs were implanted but this is slowly fading. My eyebrows shedded around 90% at the 4 week mark and I was left with what I had before for about a month.

It’s been nearly 2.5 months now and my eyebrows are starting to grow. The directions of the hair growth is natural with a few in random directions but that is to be expected as I’ve not been training them as recommended. I admit I had my doubts about the whole trip as I know Turkey has mixed reviews but I wholeheartedly recommend Shift clinic for their expertise in eyebrow transplants (although I can’t comment on their hair transplants).

I will keep you posted on my 5 months, 8 month etc update!

I know it’s still abit early but I can’t see my eyebrows growing any more (I hope not as they will look too dark!) No makeup in this picture. Around 4 months post op, anyway can’t believe that I can go out without makeup now. I have been using oribe hard rock gel to try tame them but I can’t get them to stick to my skin. However the hairs grow in a natural direction so it’s not much of a problem. Will still post a update 6/8 month update

Thanks for your review. I had two eyebrow transplantations but my hairs really stick out so much that people have been asking me what the hell I did with my eyebrows. Do you have any idea how to make them lay on the skin instead of sticking out? It really makes me so conscious about them the whole time, and it affects me psychologically :(

Do you have pictures of how it looks now?

You said that you didn't do what you had to do to train them. What was this? Because they never told me anything to train them.

Hi alexzoey, sorry to hear your brows are causing you issues :(

Although am happy with mine, they do stick out a little so having the same problem, I tried using HD brow glue but this wasn't strong enough. I've just watched a video on YouTube where a lady trains her brows using pritt stick glue! The one she uses is called pritt magic glue (its blue but comes out clear) it is also 95% organic, am going to try this and I will let you know the results. Will also post a photo too with it
All the best

Thank you for your answer! Oh, do you mean this video? https://www.youtube.com/watch?vaZtBtfVmVME I found it while searching for a solution, but I still didn't watch it, just looked a bit into it, but I left it open in a tab to watch it later (you know this struggle with all this open tabs :D). Would like to know if it worked for you :) I really tried many glues and nothing helped and also looked very unnatural (for example a glue for lashes was very shiny and looked like you glued your eyebrows, I mean, this is what you do but it shouldn't tell everyone :D). Let me know if it worked. I will, of course, also write you if I find something that works for mine :)
Best wishes!
