WORTH IT
I took pics in the sunlight and an indoor shot. I never wear foundation or cover-up so this is my skin. I smiled so you can see what happens under the eyes. As I mentioned before I believe the new fine lines and the chloasma (pregnancy mask) are due to having my baby, extreme lack of sleep, sun exposure daily 8 hours or more, extreme exercise, and extreme diet. I lifted weights daily and ran many miles with my running stroller while fasted, daily often eating only one keto meal a day. I ran a 53-mile race 4 months after having my baby. I work outdoors all day in a physical labor position. I quit keto for a bit and came back to it again. I quit again a few weeks ago. Even though I feel it is the best tool for keeping fat off, I also noticed both times I did it, my hair became extremely dry, and damaged and so was my skin. I took electrolytes and drank gallons of water but my skin (my face would peel) was always dry and I always felt dehydrated. So I am back eating nutrient-dense foods to fuel my training. My point in all this is, Dr. Hessler's work is great and any aging to my eye area recently is all due to my lifestyle. So, if you don't lead this type of lifestyle and are planning to get a similar procedure I believe you will have even greater lasting results. Oh and my age is 39.

Here's a recent pic. It's a little blurry but I had the procedure done 3 years ago. After I had my baby 1.5 years and did Keto and extreme fasting I now have a few fine lines there but not bags. I will add a clearer photo if requested.

What was your recovery timeframe?
As far as I can remember it was 2 weeks before the bruising went away.

The elimination of the bags under your eyes literally took 10 years off your age. Of course it helped that the bags were the only sign of aging on your face; you don't appear to have any wrinkles or sagging elsewhere. But the correction of the eye bags was a very subtle – but phenomenally effective – visual improvement. Minor, subtle, intermittent improvements are so much better than "letting oneself go" and then getting everything lifted all at once. I imagine you were thrilled with the result!
Thank you very much, yes she did an amazing job. I was thrilled and like I said I forget sometimes how drastically different the area looks now. I do have lines but they are hard to see even in sunlight pics when I upload them?

Dr. Jill Hessler did an amazing job! One thing I will say that I was unaware of, was that the procedure is so simple and it doesn't leave any marks or scars. Dr. Hessler explained everything in great detail and I felt extremely well cared for. She let me know that the procedure is just supposed to make you look like you again, not some noticeable change to my face.
I felt safe having her do the procedure. The procedure turned back the clock. I could not be more happy with the results. She is professional and kind. I would highly recommend Dr. Hessler for this specific eye bag surgery. Notice she specializes in the face, so if you want a procedure done on your face, she is the best in the bay area.

Blepharoplasty is the procedure. She simply transferred my own fat into the sagging skin that had weakened over time. Without invasive surgery.
