5 weeks post op. I still have light swelling and light brown bruising that is easily covered with makeup. Overall very happy with the procedure and would recommend it for anyone struggling with under eye bags.

Lower Bleph and Fat Transfer
I have dealt with dark circles and undereye bags my whole life. I have researched lower blepharoplasty for 4 years and finally decided that since I was turning 30 this year that this would be my gift. I went for a consultation and was told that I was a definite candidate for lower blepharoplasty since I had the bags but was also told that once the fat was removed that this could leave me looking hollow so the Doctor recommended that I also get fat transfer to that area to decrease the hollow look and dark circles. I had my surgery on May 5th. I did have to be put under general anesthesia since I was also getting the fat transfer where they ended up grafting fat (lipo) from my thighs. I woke up in a recovery room and was in some pain but definitely tolerable. I went home and was told to stay elevated, including at night when sleeping, taking my prescriptions and icing my eyes for swelling. I did have some bleeding at the incision sights and some pain the first day. The second day I woke up and was tender but nothing ibuprofen could not fix. I continued to rest, stayed elevated and iced off and on all day. Day 3 I woke up with significant swelling and bruising. Way more than I thought I would have. The swelling for me lasted for over two weeks. I am currently 3 weeks out and still have minor swelling and bruising. I went to my post op and was told that the swelling and bruising was significant since I had the fat transfer in conjunction with the lower bleph. Most patients with just lower bleph heal much quicker. So far I am happy with my results but I am anxious to see what my final results will look like. I am hoping the bruising and swelling will be done soon!

I'm thinking about having this done, have you turned a corner yet and less swollen?
Yes, I had a virtual consultation yesterday and my swelling is significantly less. The doctor said it may be a few more weeks to see total results. But honestly even with the swelling, I look much better than before. My husband told me I look the best I ever have so I am hopeful that it will only continue to improve as the swelling keeps going down.
I look forward to your updated photos. I just had filler removed and my eyes look even worse! The dr said it's necessary in order to determine what we are really dealing with.
How's your recovery? I'm going to book this today and I have about 14 days to look presentable. Lol
I needed 14 days to look presentable too for my 30th birthday but I was definitely still very swollen and bruised due to the facial fat transfer. I’m almost completely healed now. It took way longer than I had thought but I am happy with the results.
You so so beautiful who did the operation please I’m so scared to go ahead so would be helpful
Yes can you kindly share who did this beautiful work?
