My Experience Getting Coolsculpting

Soo long story short... I have gained 2 pounds since the 8 weeks mark...but that is still 5 pounds less than when I started yet my stomach still looks basically the same?? Although I did see progress in my lower abdomen at the 8week mark somehow little by little it came back? I’d like to point out the fat in my lower abdomen feels different to the touch and the best way I can describe it is that it’s heavy. I know it is not possible but I feel like the fat has clumped together? It is actually uncomfortable at times and I sometimes massage it vigorously for a few minutes in order to get relief. I am wondering if any of you who have gotten this procedure experienced the same? I’m also looking into liposuction, anyone get lipo after coolsculpting?

My fat feels different as well. I am 5’4, 140lbs, decent shape, but started getting a little heavier in middle area after 50. I for one think it is a waste of money. I did 2 sessions, 6 paddles total, on my lower stomach and love handles. Unfortunately i waited too long in between sessions I think, 6 months. Either way, just about 3k total and nothing. I eat healthy, work out etc. I am 52, maybe thats what it is? Not sure. Good luck you all! Maybe it will work for u better.
I am so sorry to hear you spent all that money with no results! I’m glad I only did one session with only two paddles..if I had spent a cent more I would be furious. Although I am starting to believe I might be experiencing paradoxical hyperplasia. Apparently it is very rare but basically it can cause your fat cells to actually become larger or “like a stick of butter”. And I believe that is what has happened bc there is no reason for me to be 5 pounds lighter but my lower abdomen (only area I got done) to be larger.

It sounds like you have PAH. It usually takes Lipo to fix. Hopefully the coolsculpting office will pay for it
Did you mean the office where I got the coolsculpting done at or the company coolsculpting itself bc unfortunately I got it done at a medspa so they only do fillers and non surgical procedures.
I meant the medspa, sorry I didn't specify! Even though they won't be able to fit it at their own office they SHOULD be willing to pay for the lipo (articles about this say that most offices will pay out for the corrections)
Oh wow I didn’t know about that I’m going to be contacting them as soon as they reopen then!
I see a big difference. I think you look great. I cool sculpting and I swear my lymphatic system just took at least 6 months to get rid of the fat.
I wonder if you might have something called 'Paradoxical Adipose Hyperplasia.' It's a rare, but real, complication from Coolsculpting. Google this and read up on it. If you think you've got it, only proper lipo works.
I ended up getting lipo! My surgeon did say he had a hard time with my lower abdomen (where I had coolsculpting) he had to make an extra incision on the lower inside of my belly button. I’m assuming I did probably have that.

8 weeks later

By this point I was weighing 158 at my home scale. Coolsculpting is in no way a weight loss surgery. So again this 7 pound weight loss I’m pretty sure was due to my diet. I had been weighing 158 since 5 weeks and had hit a plateau. I also had started to feel a weird feeling in my lower abdomen (the only area that had been treated) and that pouch I had was become harder?

2 weeks and 3 days later

Everyday my swelling went down a bit more. By one weeks My lower abdomen was no longer numb/bruised feeling but instead I felt an itch under my skin. By 2 weeks I felt 100% normal and was kind of amazed bc I was told not to expect to see any results until 6 weeks and then final results at 12 weeks. I must say I had completelyyyy changed my diet. I was counting calories (about 1,100 calories a day) and only drinking water tons of it. So I weighed myself at home it said I was 162. That is what they said my beginning weight was at the medspa but when I weighed myself at home on my cheap scale it said 165. Sooo I think part of the fast result was the fact I may have lost 3 pounds in those 2 1/2 weeks from dieting. I’m attaching photos of me after 2 weeks and 3 days.
