Better Than Expected Results for my Second Facelift !

I had a facelift about 8 years ago but had never been happy and so went about researching for a new surgeon and came across Dr Chana. It was very important for me to get the right result and have my previous surgery improved upon. I decided to choose Dr Chana since he seemed to have the best understanding about what I was looking for and it gave me confidence that he also had considerable experience in facial reconstruction as well as cosmetic procedures. My scars were terrible from my previous surgery even though I had gone to one of the supposedly best surgeons for facelifts who I had found in Tatler magazine. Big mistake ! I realised this is just marketing . You really have to do your research and find your surgeon yourself. Dr Chana explained during my consultations that the scars would need to be completely revised. He did not recommend pulling the skin since this had been pulled too tight at the first surgery which is why the scars were so bad. Instead he said a procedure to lift and tighten the SMAS would help. Also I needed a neck lift which had not been done previously. He showed me photographs and explained the procedure in detail. He also showed me pictures of previous redo facelifts . I also saw two staff in the hospital who had facelifts by him whose results were spectacular and these ladies were older than me.
It is now just over a year and the results are better than I ever imagined. The scars have been completely repositioned and are so neat. My hairline had been lifted too high previously and this has now been corrected and I can confidently wear my hair up now which I couldnt do before. My jowls had not been fully operated on previously and now I have a really nice jawline which is better than after my previous surgery. My neck is also so much better. I feel like I have had the right procedure this time and in spite of all the work which was needed it is a more natural looking result than the first time. I was scared about having eyelid surgery after my previous bad experience with the other doctor but I wish now I had done this at the same time. I will certainly be going back to Dr Chana for this. My advice is the surgeons in the magazines are not always the best. It is impossible to find a good surgeon but I have been lucky to find Dr Chana so I hope this helps others who are looking for a facelift surgeon. I cannot recommend Dr Chana enough.
