This was my second treatment. The first out my outer legs, the second on my inner thighs. The first time it felt similiar to VelaShape in regards to discomfort. The beginning of the treatment feels like warm massage, leading to the heat increasing until it’s unbearable. My pain tolerance is moderately high, but this last session has me in a full body sweat. My left leg pain discomfort was due to 70% heat increase and 30% shocking sensations. My right left was almost the 50/50. The sessions only lasted an hour but I had to beg my technician to stop over and over again bc it felt like I was being electrocuted. Has anyone had a similar experience, or was there something wrong with this machine?

I had this the first time and found out that you have to be very well hydrated. They recommend a GALLON of water daily for 2 week prior to your first session and continuing until your last. I did this and had much more pleasant experience the following 3 treatments

That is for better results, lymphatic drainage. Nothing to do with what was happening to her

If you are sweating, your sweat will mix with the oil and the machine will begin to zap you. The radiofrequency will hit the water in the sweat and cause the zapping, and will also leave your skin with red marks like in your photo. I would try working with a fan on to keep you cooler during the treatment! If you start getting zapped, have the technician remove the oil from the area with a dry towel and apply new oil and try again!

You were burned! Normaly when there is a bad contact of the applicator with the skin, this type of problem occurs. In addition, it is important to adjust the parameters so that this treatment can be pleasant and not painful without compromising the result!

I’ve had 4 Excilis treatments, I can’t relate to your experience. It looks like you were burned. When it gets super hot I say something. The last time I was getting a treatment they said the tool measures my hydration level, as well the temperature in the area needs to reach I think 45 celsius.
Imm sorry that was your experience. Hopefully that was a one time experience
