So I've booked my surgery in for the 24th October (birthday present from me to me) with Dr Mayo & The Hospital Group. At the moment I've gone for 380cc moderate profile (4.1 projection) Motiva implants, but was originally suggested the 450cc high profile in order to fill in the top of my breasts where they have very slight droop from breast feeding (for 3 months). The sound of 450cc scared me off as it sounds like a lot & i don't want the harsh barbie doll look so I went for the 380cc, but now I'm starting to worry that they won't be big enough as i want to be at least a DD so people notice I've had them done without them looking really fake! I've seen pictures of people who've had high profiles & after a while they don't look really fake but it's hard to find people who've had 380cc moderates so I can compare. Also, another reason I went for the smaller implant is because I thought the recovery would hurt less (don't know if this is true?) I've ordered both implants so hopefully at my pre op I can make my decision!! Any advice would be appreciated :)

I was so scared of the size decision- but you've really got to trust your gut instinct. I'm just over 5ft5 and about 112lb - I was advised that 445 would fill my pockets nicely - I thought they'd be scarily big, but I couldn't be happier! I've posted a pic 25 days post op. In clothes I look pretty normal and not at all Barbiesque. My daughter had 100cc less than me but hurt a lot more - so I guess it depends on how big your pockets are to begin with as to how much tightness pain you experience post op :-) Wishing you luck and happiness on your journey :-)

Hi, thank you for the advice! I guess everyone is different when it comes to the recovery!! Yours look amazing!! It's so hard to tell what they will look like in the end, I swear I've been through so many pictures & CCs on one person look completely different to another person! Did you have high profile implants?

Thank you :-) I had the Natrelle inspira responsive TSX - high profile. One very valuable piece of advice my surgeon gave me was to stop trying to compare what size I would look like with pictures of others. I too must have looked at hundreds and confused myself so much! Soon as I stopped comparing myself I relaxed. I looked at pics more for reassurance that augmented boobs can look great and natural! I can see exactly what my surgeon meant now as my sister and I had our ops a week apart - very similar build, exactly the same size implants, but post op our boobs look completely different to each other! Mental but true. My humble advice is to have a surgeon you completely trust, make sure they have a really good idea of the look/size you're after, follow your own instinct and enjoy :-)

Hiya Ive recently had a consultation with mr Mayo and I'm considering booking my BA soon, you've said about having a pre op can you leave a size decision until then? Im completely torn between two sizes too! how are you feeling about the up coming op?
September 7, 2015
Yeah, I was told that you have a pre op over the phone first & then another one on the day of your surgery. I contacted my patient care coordinator & she's ordered both the sizes or implant I was stuck between so I can decide on the day but I think I will go for the biggest size because I've seen so many people disappointed with the size they end up with & wish they'd gone bigger! What sizes are you stuck between? I'm really excited! It still feels ages away so I haven't got nervous yet, I just keep looking at people's results & can't wait to have boobs haha!!

All done!

So I'm all done! Had my surgery today, been out of theatre for less than 2 hours & I feel amazing! I left home at 5:30 this morning to get to Dolan Park Hospital as my admission time was 9. I threw up the whole car journey because I was so nervous & thought I was going to back out, but I didn't actually go to theatre until 4 (super long wait!) but by that point I was so tired that I couldn't wait to get put to sleep & my nerves had completely gone! When I woke up I felt no tightness or pain, just the tiniest bit sore but practically nothing, I kept saying I couldn't believe how good I felt!! I had 425cc high profile Motiva Ergonomix partials. They look like the perfect size, not too big or small! I'm kind of waiting for the pain to kick in eventually but hopefully if I don't overdo it then it will be fine! It's hard though because they feel exactly like they did before I had surgery & I can move my arms easily! At the moment I am so glad I did this! They are a great shape already, round & not high with a natural slope already!! I'm in love with them already :)

Hi! Im due to have motiva ergonomix demi profile, around 300cc in 2 weeks but iv found it so hard to find people with the ergonomix - how are they now over a year on? Iv read bad things on the motiva progressive gel plus and being bottom heavy and causing sagging so i hope this doesnt happen with the ergonomix!! [RS bleep]

Bloating
maggie_kingOctober 28, 2015
Okay, so this stomach bloating is awful! Im not getting gut pains, so I'm guessing it's more swelling than being blocked up (nice)! All I want to do is take pictures of my new boobs, but my stomach looks so bad that I don't like any of the photos! My boobs are very cone like too & there is swelling or tenting between them which makes them look a bit weird! They feel huge at the moment but I just want my stomach to be flat again so I can gauge the real size my new boobies!!
