WORTH IT
At my 3week PO appt I was advised to start massaging my breasts twice a day. I did had one large hard spot on my right breast but that is gone now. They are really softening up. I can't wait to start exercising again. I was told I have to wait until 9 weeks to start fully back,

All is well. Dr is very happy with my progress and I got the okay to stop wearing the bindings Hallelujah! Freedom! My next appointment is in 6 weeks. The follow up appointments are really quick, today she started massaging and said I am to do that twice a day plus start using the scar reducing cream. I am still to use the heating pad as well. Happy Lady.

Awesome!!! So happy for you!! I'm having my surgery this Thursday and I am freaking out lol!! I think I want to cancel :) and then to boot...my throat is starting to hurt so that has me worried...I'm going to call my PS tomorrow morning and ask for his opinion as well! Just wanted to tell you that you look amazing on your 3 week PO! thanks so much for sharing!

I flip flopped daily prior to the surgery trust me. I have a couple posts in here where I am freaking out when the nerves go the best of me. I'm glad I did it, but it is a personal choice. Talk to your PS about everything. If you are having back ano neck pain I would do it in a second. Keep me posted and feel free to ask me questions.

Thank you so much you are the sweetest! I'm not just saying this but you have really made me feel better and stop freaking out so much...thank you for that! My PS wants to see me tomorrow a little earlier prior to my surgery to check me out and make sure that everything is ok and he will decide then if we need to postpone the surgery! I'm glad he's being cautious and taking precautionary measures...I like that and it makes me feel even more confident that I made the right choice as far as having him do this surgery! I will definitely keep you posted!

Yes they are starting to look normal again. I have been really lucky I haven't had ANY itching either. I do take a Benadryl every night which I heard helps with that. I feel like I have my range of motion back in my arms which is really nice. Can't wait to see what the Dr. says.
