I had a breast implant rupture and couldn't decide if I wanted to replace or remove my old implants. I read hundreds of reviews and sought the opinion of three respected plastic surgeons in Nashville before choosing Dr. Gingrass. I am 5'3", weigh 105, and breastfed two babies with implants in. My current implants were perfect for my size (no one even knew I had implants unless I told them), but I never liked the way my saline implants felt. I also had some sagginess from nursing. During my consultation, Dr. Gingrass and I discussed which option (remove or replace) was best for me. Dr. Gingrass listened to my concerns and was straightforward about the outcome for both options. Since one of my implants had ruptured, she was able to tape that breast to show me what my natural breasts would look like after the implants were removed. She also showed me a silicone implant and recommended the silicone if I decided to replace. All of the information she provided helped me make an informed decision. In the end, I decided to replace my implants with silicone implants. She also did a lift around the areola to remove excess skin. It has been 3 months since the surgery and I'm very happy with my results. My breasts still look natural and the implants feel great!
