Spotty girl - I am very happy so far

I started getting LOTS of spots do to being out in the sun way too much. I am in my 50s. The brown spots did not both me so much as they look like freckles but i developed a few round red dots and than my chest was pink and mottled (mix of brown spots and red) One treatment on my chest and the reality is the healing process is slow... but coming along well.

The pink has faded from the IPL on my chest and I think soon the larger brown spots will slough off. The test on my FACE using the Excel V for two red spots is fading a bit every day. For the first 6 days it was much redder and I honestly was worried. Now it is LESS red than when we started. I would say half as red. HUGE difference. Honestly I am thrilled so far as I was burnt by a TCA peel gone wrong (somewhere else) and IPL in the past did not work for me.

Their IPL machine is much newer. Katie is so kind because she works around my fear of lasers on my face. She used a lower setting to test a few brown spots on the sides. Than a week later zapped them again (no charge-much higher setting) as they did not react. It is rare to find someone HONEST and fair these days.

Not sure I would want to do a full face IPL as my recovery is SLOW on my neck. But perhaps more spot treatments as they are easy to touch up while healing. I never used sunscreen on my arms and now I see it was foolish. Don't have the budget for arm treatments. Also being in too hot south Florida you have to time laser treatments because they heal better in cooler weather. Anyhow, I am very happy so far. Sorry gals but I don't post photos.

Hi again...so i had my second IPL on my chest two days ago. Their was little change after the first treatment so she turned it up ALL the way. My chest is still pink and two areas are still red but i am not concerned in the least. Katie also zapped for the THIRD time the test spots on my face .Stubborn little critters they are...i smelled burnt flesh but they did not even turn red.nor pink. So odd really....Beginning to think my skin is cryptonite. I love her..i wanted to treat more of the red spots with the EXCEL V as that worked SO incredible for me however because Ulta is closed with this Covid 19 I cant buy the makeup that cancels out the red. And after the xcel v you are RED. So...i must wait. One more thing...i said i would NEVER have a PA inject me with Botox. I only have a little bit of Botox here and there. The doctor I was going to always injected into a vein so i had just stopped going. Katie is so cool that i decided to try the area between my eyebrows. However i told her PLEASE do not touch the center area between the eyebrows because i get migraines when someone touches that area. She said she was not sure i would get the greatest results. Well two days later and i am sooooo happy. Katie was AWESOME..a better injector than my doc. Just love this woman...honest, gorgeous and a great listener. ......................if you need any treatments try Katie. Oh and one last thing...laser treatments should be really done when the UVA index outside is low and/or you are indoors. You cant get any sun exposure after which is a tough one for me...I will have to keep my chest covered completely for a month. Keep that in mind
