Cutera XL V Laser for Sun Damaged Hands

$350
I am 51 years old. I use sunscreen on my face since 24 years old, but my hands have developed sun spots throughout the years. I had a skin cancer screening and my doctor told me I could remove the sun spots with a laser. I made an appointment and today I had my first treatment. It felt like little snaps of a rubber band, it was finished in no longer than 10 minutes! Now my spots are purple and some have blistered. Doctor said that will last a few days, then as week goes on the spots will peel off. I have to use sunscreen every day and reapply on my hands as she said they could come back. She does not know if I will need another treatment but if I do, I can go in a month. $350 for both hands.

Day 2

Day 2, blistering a lot. Left hand has more sun damage than right. Very ugly stage but going just as doctor said. Wearing lots of sunscreen. Does not hurt at all. Very excited to see how it looks in a few weeks. I will keep updating.

No longer blistering but red and open skin. Also scabbing that should dry up and fall off. They say not to pick at and I am just leaving them. I use lots of cream and neosporin to keep it soft and moisturized. I can see some light pink spots where the brown spots were. They should heal and all is going the way it is supposed to. It should be 2 weeks when I will be able to see if spots are fully gone.
