Hello! I have been silently following many threads on this site, but decided to go ahead and put my story out there. I am 27 years old, have 3 boys ages 2,4,6. I had c sections with all 3. They were all over 9 lbs at birth, leaving me with very loose skin and a ton of stretch marks. For comparison purposes, I am 5'9" and 160 lbs. I had a TT and implants placed on 12/19/14. Two of my friends told me it was the most miserable 2 weeks of their life following their TT, but it has been so much easier than my c-sections. I cannot say that I was ever in a miserable amount of pain. I took the recommended pain medication for 3 days. I slept in my recliner and pretty well did nothing except sleep for the first 2 days. I was moving around more on day 3. My drains were removed on day 4 and I began to stand up straighter. On day 4 and day 5 I still tired very easily. Just washing my hair was a lot of effort, but no major pain. My biggest complaint was back pain from being bent over. It has now been a week since my surgery. My stomach is still sore, but that is just part of the healing process. I am walking pretty well upright and have slept in my bed since day 4 when the drains were removed. Tomorrow night my husband and I are going out with friends...I feel great! I think my swelling is still relatively significant. My stomach is flat, but my clothes fit a little more snug than before surgery. I am hoping that the swelling goes down soon! Overall, I am happy and would do it again!

Mrstopp, glad to hear you are doing well. I'm not sure what Dr gutter does but I've had minimal pain also. We definitely made a good decision by choosing him. Happy healing.

2 weeks post op

Today I am 2 weeks post op. I feel good, there is still some soreness but nothing horrible. I am standing up straight and wearing normal clothes. My lower abdomen is still swollen so the waist of my pants fit more snug than before. I'm hoping this goes down soon bc my waist feels very thick! Other than that, no complaints!

It's interesting to me that everyone says their waist is bigger and clothes tighter after surgery and they look like they've lost 20+ pounds :) Just think how beautiful it will look once all the swelling subsides!! Glad to hear you're still doing well -Happy healing!
