5 month update!

WORTH IT$10,000
We're a little more than five months out, woo!
Life has been great, I'm still so happy. I have one more followup with Dr. Sisco in a few weeks, and then Im basically free!
In general, my breasts have "relaxed" a lot compared to how they were initially. I like it, it feels more natural. The left one has got a weird shape going on, I'll check with Dr Sisco on that when I see him, but if it's just aesthetic, I don't mind. I still don't have feeling around some of the incisions, but that doesn't bother me too much anymore. Overall, no regrets!

Concerns about lefty
TeaPlease123February 8, 2018
Going to check with the doc tomorrow morning... Left breast looks a little concerning. Right one is healing fine. Anyone else have a similar issue?

I have also had a small opening at the t section on my left brest while healing. Looks about the same size as yours. Now I am almost 4 months after surgery and it healed up fine. Just a little bit more scar tissue. I am guessing in a year there will be not be a big difference to the other breast. :)

I guess my concern is the redness/inflammation as well :/ did your hole take forever to dry up? Mine keeps leaking and has difficulty scabbing over.

It leaked in the begining. It took about 1 week to stop leaking, and as far as i remember around 2 more weeks to close completely. It never actually scabbed over, as i tried to keep it moist. The wound closed from the edges and then it filled up slowly with tissue. I will soon post my review and will try to upload some pictures from that area, so you can see how it looks down the line.

Looks amazing... well done... can I ask how driving is now? My procedure is on the 7th and wondering if I can start driving 1 week after
January 31, 2018
I was on medical leave for a week, and then worked from home most of the following week. I was told I could resume driving when I stopped taking the prescription pain medication (Norco). I didn't have any major issues with driving. My padded winter jacket helped with the seat belt, but if you live in a warmer climate you may want a small pillow. Otherwise the worst part is making turns, it feels strange but it's not painful for me.
