Ethnic Rhinoplasty with Dr. Eren Boldaz: The Best Decision I've Ever Made

For the longest time, I had wanted to have rhinoplasty. When I finally felt ready, I spent months researching surgeons, reading reviews and comparing before-and-after photos.

No matter how much you want the surgery, there are still doubts. You wonder whether you'll get the result you've always hoped for, whether your nose will still look natural, and whether you'll be able to breathe properly afterwards. I found myself reading patient experiences almost every day before finally making my decision.

As a Black woman, it was very important for me to find a surgeon who truly understood ethnic rhinoplasty. I wanted a more refined nose with a beautiful bridge, but I didn't want anything that looked overdone or unnatural. I wanted a result that would complement my face while still looking like me.

After months of research, I chose Dr. Eren Boldaz, and I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions I have ever made.

Even when you know you want surgery, it's completely normal to feel nervous when the day finally arrives. Dr. Eren was incredibly patient, calm and reassuring. He never rushed me. He listened carefully to what I wanted, answered all my questions and made me feel safe throughout the process.

One moment I will never forget happened just before my surgery. We were already in the operating theatre and I was so nervous. Before I was put to sleep, I looked at Dr. Eren and said, "I hope you'll make my nose beautiful." He smiled and replied, "Don't worry. I will definitely do my best." Those simple words brought me so much comfort. Looking at my result today, I can honestly say he did exactly that.

Because I have thick skin, rib cartilage was used during my rhinoplasty. Although I was nervous, everything was handled with great professionalism and care. One thing that truly amazed me was waking up after surgery and realising that I could already breathe through my nose. I honestly wasn't expecting that, and it immediately gave me confidence that everything had gone well.

Zaliha, my consultant, was wonderful from beginning to end. She was kind, supportive and always ready to help whenever I needed her. The nurses were equally amazing and took such great care of me after surgery. The hospital was clean, the accommodation was comfortable, and the entire team made me feel genuinely cared for throughout my journey.

I am still healing, but I already love my result. My nose is more refined, I finally have the bridge I always wanted, and it looks natural and balanced with the rest of my face. Most importantly, when I look in the mirror now, I simply feel happy. I also continue to breathe very well, which has made me even more grateful for my decision.
