Bruising on gums, not wearing tray atm.

Under my canine tooth, the tray pushes up under it and pushes into my gum and it bleeds when putting the trays in and out but it's day 2 and I've noticed my gum under the tooth is bruised and it's worrying me.

My ortho is closed and doesn't have an emergency number, they're also 2 hours away so I'm hoping I don't have to go back again! I'm calling them in the morning but for now, the NHS have said to keep them out as this is not normal.

No pain but around that one canine my gum is bruised and swollen. :(

Already a problem... (treatment extended by a month)

My dentist wont be able to extract my teeth before tray 2 so I'm stuck with tray 1 until my extractions, so ill probably be getting tray 2 in over a month. So annoying, treatment time has been extended by a month :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) is it okay to use retainer brite twice a day from next week? just really don't want these going discoloured seeing as I have them for a month.

Tray 1 and attachments! (+ update on extractions)

So I went to my Orthodontist (well, practice)... The ortho I saw for my consultation and scan was not dealing with me today. Very disappointing, I had a trainee put on my attachments and she was not the most warming person I've met.

So I arrived and went straight to a room for my attachments, they had some trouble as my mouth wouldn't stay dry after they dried it. They all set nicely in the end, I had the first tray put in and was briefed on how to care for them (was really unhappy with how rushed they was dealing with me, going to complain). They never showed me my clincheck, I'd never seen it but I reminded them and they said they had it on the screen ready to show me but forgot... Well obviously that's not okay, I asked the receptionist to show me it which she did from behind her desk, that was an exciting moment which was so rushed I can't even remember what the result looked like. I asked for it to be emailed to me and she said yes but I still have no email. Going to call tomorrow.

I was meant to be having all my pre-molars extracted before tray 1, they later informed me that I would be picking up tray 1 and having the extractions asap after. I have to arrange this with my dentist. I was told to have it done 2-3 days before my next tray incase my teeth move but now I've been told to have it done asap to help minimise discomfort for my next tray.

I have attachments on every tooth apart from 3 at the top front teeth in my mouth and the 4 little teeth on my lower teeth.

No pain, only feel discomfort when I put them back in for a few minutes. I expect these are just like a taster, say until my extractions?

The tray behind my teeth pushes into my gums and makes them bleed? they feel like they've been burnt and there's a little ridge where they're being pushed. :/

I'm going to ask about it when I call tomorrow but so far so good! :D

24 months to go! - 53 trays, the last 3 are refinements. Exciting! :)
