45 Yr Old -large Apron Due to Weigh Loss - Essendon, AU

After loosing 60kg I was self concious about my large apron. Being a nurse/midwife I was embaarrassed about my look, and on occasion, was asked if I was pregnant!. The excoriation, rashes, and constant need to wash the skin under the apron led to depression, lack of sexual desire (that affected my relationship) and a life of hiding away at home,too ashamed to go out and socialise.I reasearched doctors, procedures and asked colleagues. After joining a health fund and 12 months of planning I booked an appointment with dr Grinsell and his team at Horizon. My surgery was on Friday 13th September 2013, I knew what to expect due to the thorough discussions with Dr Grinsell and his team. There was minimal pain and the take home medications were sufficient. Since then I have brought two piece bathers and flashed my beautiful flat (tanned) stomach. I feel great in slim jeans and tight skirts an am always the first to say yes to any outings, my relationship with my husband has hit an all time high due to my confidence in showing off my new body.
The Scars can be hidden by bathers or undies (no one knows my secret) I feel confident and am living life to the full thanks to the "Horizon"team.
