Reduction by Dr. Gruber at ArtLipo January 2021

I opted for awake lipo with Dr. Gruber at Artlipo earlier this year and it has made a huge difference. She says if I chose we can reduce more after I have healed. Not removing too much at once is the best way to prevent that huge drop and sagging skin that comes with lipo of the buttocks. I no longer have that high shelf, and now I'm on a weight loss journey hoping to improve the look even more.
I hope to do a more detailed review with before and after pictures soon. Good luck dolls!

How was the awake procedure compared to your original procedure?

So sorry I’m just seeing this now. The original procedure I was under sedation and felt nothing during the procedure. Awake I was aware of what was going on, I felt the initial injections when the areas were being anesthetized, I felt the motions and manipulations (which can be scary, to think of) and yes sometimes I felt discomfort. Whenever I felt discomfort she would stop and administer more anesthetic to that area as needed. I was not pumped with a whole lot of fluid and was able to see immediate results after. It may not be for the faint of heart, but it was certainly doable. For me it was worth it, because I really didn’t want to be put under again. Another benefit is being able to stand up and give my immediate feedback during. I was able to say, please remove more. I couldn’t say that if under general anesthesia.

Fantastic Results-- Fluffing is Real--6 Month Update

Hi Dolls. Recovery is ongoing. I fell hours after the surgery and my sprained ankle made mobility and positioning very difficult. The compression from the garment kept my ankle swollen a lot longer than it should have been and delayed healing by months. It's still not completely healed which put a damper on the shoes, thus the clothes I could wear. I eventually had to stop wearing the garment to relieve the swelling from my ankle. I Still have swelling in tummy and lower back, some days are better than others but overall my body is coming along. Things are not perfect, but so so so much improved! My buttocks have always been naturally shaped different and while enhanced and full and round and soft and voluptuous, still they returned to their naturally different shape. My lower waist area is not completely soft yet and my hips are still tender. Fluffing-- my shirts are still getting looser, but my butt bigger. Pants that I bought 3 months ago, i cant get over my butt without squishing it flat. It was 43 inches for weeks and now 44.5- 45 inches. In dresses especially it seems humongous! Lol.. sometimes I'm self conscious about it, but i'm happy to have enough to accommodate my planned weight loss. But that thang big yall! Lol --The doc could not remove all my body fat, so I still have braline fat, but my lower back and love handles are vastly improved and I look great in clothes. Shopping is a breeze, I'm filling out all jeans, skirts snd dresses and all the new attention is fun. Never before now have I gone into a dressing room and everything looks great! I plan to start my fitness program when it warms up a bit. I'm also considering repeating lipo only to remove more back and abdominal fat. Possibly someplace closer to home this time. I'm going to do a separate update about concerns and imperfections and fitness plans. Thanks Dolls!

You look amazing! Dr Hasan did u right... when u say he couldn’t take out all of your fat did he tell you that he took the max 4L out was it that the surgery was just long and he spent time on other areas? I don’t know if my question makes sense but I guess what I want to know is if you think that it’s better to slim down and get close to the weight your suppose to be at (say within 15-20 pounds ) prior to surgery so all the fat can be removed or do you think it’s better to be larger if you want an exaggerated result like a tiny waist , slim back and arms etc, and large butt? I’m not sure if I should continue to lose weight or not since I do want an exaggerated result,,,,I am 5”2 and 170lbs right now......

Thanks doll! There is a 4L max they can remove in Florida. I had lost 20 lbs, and was at his max allowed BMI, but when he saw me naked he said I had still too much fat to remove all in one treatment. He said my tummy alone was probably 4L and that with back and flanks I had closer to 7L total on me. He said that I could wait and lose another 20 lbs and comeback and get a "home run" his words. Or he would do the best he could and I could do my upper back in 6-12 months. Well I had spent so much money already on flights and hotels, pre op clearance and all, plus things change so much with them from day to day...i decided to go ahead with it and let him do his best. Well that has left me with a much smaller tummy and waist but still lots of upper back and underarm fat, and uneven tummy. Not too noticeable in clothes but very noticeable naked. If you want to be as close to your desired/goal outcome, you don't want too much more fat than they can remove (each state is different). So i had plenty of good healthy fat to transfer, but way too much to remove. Honestly 4-5 liters is only roughly 4-5 pounds. 15-20 lbs over may be too much, if it's 15-20 lbs of fat you are looking to have removed. If part of that weight is giving you curves you want to keep great! But if it's fat you want removed, I'm not the Doc, but I feel pretty confident telling you they will probably not remove that much. I went in 5'5 185lbs, afterwards I was the same thing because it was a transfer. Good luck, i hope this has answerrd your question. Let me know!

Also..because my upper back is so disproportionate to the rest of my torso, I am planning lipo only for my upper back and stomach in the next few weeks. (Closer to home, not in FL) i really want a sexy back...
February 5, 2018
Wow thank you so much for your response, that has really cleared this whole thing up for me. I didn’t have a clear concept of how much 4L really was and right now I have way more than that I would want removed. Ok I’m gonna keep dropping then....thank you so much for your response. And I hope u heal quickly so u can get the lipo u want on the other areas Hasan couldn’t get to....u gonna be fire chile!

3 week Comparison Pics

6 weeks today! Still healing, still swelling though it's getting better. Having a different type discomfort. I'm getting my sensation back to areas and they are soar. Hips, back, tummy and sometimes butt are more soar now that they are healing. No pain med needed but noticeable. Getting massages almost daily. I've had a few professional massages, but my daughter does it for me a few times a week as well. I also massage my own tummy, hips and sides. Still wearing my faja daily. I had stopped sleeping in it, but under the good advice of a veteran doll I have started sleeping in it again, and I feel it's making a real difference. I also use a Velcro wrap to increase compression. I can't believe my body now and how clothes fit me. I love it! Most of my things are too big. I havent been able to really dress up because my ankle isn't completely healed and I can't wear my heels but I can't wait.
I'm starting to feel like myself again, but I looked at my before pics and realize that this body is completely different and I feel GREAT about it. I love just moving around in it and planning things and not worrying about the fit of my clothes anymore. It's a wonderful feeling! I feel excited!
