I’m writing this review because, prior to my procedure on September 9th 2024, I struggled to find many reviews of Erbium Laser resurfacing. I hope my experience can help others who are considering this treatment.
First, I want to acknowledge that my doctor and his staff, whom I’ve known for about four years, were incredibly professional, caring, and attentive throughout the entire process. Their care was exceptional, and I felt well-supported.
However, my experience with the Erbium Laser resurfacing was not as expected. Despite the high cost, general anesthesia, and the somewhat unsettling appearance right after the procedure, the results were disappointing. The treatment was much too superficial, and I noticed almost no visible improvements. My wrinkles, sun spots, and skin texture remained unchanged.
I had anticipated my skin to peel off, but instead, I experienced a "sandpaper" feeling on my cheeks for about a day, which eventually subsided. The full recovery took about seven days, and after that, my skin returned to its previous state, with no lasting improvements.
If you’re considering Erbium Laser resurfacing, I would recommend discussing your expectations thoroughly with your doctor and considering alternative laser treatments. You may want to inquire about the intensity of the treatment and ensure it aligns with the results you're hoping for.
I hope this review helps anyone looking for more information.
