Enlighten laser tattoo removal

8 more weeks until the next treatment, I can do this!! I have a vacation, wedding, and anniversary coming up so I will be busy, hopefully time will pass quickly. I get so excited when I know I’m due for a treatment.. even though this time I’m waiting longer in between I trust that it’ll be worth it!

How many weeks did you wait between your first & second treatment? (sorry if you’ve already answered that somewhere & I didn’t see : ) ) I went for a consult for removal with the enlighten & was told that there they do treatments every six weeks which to me seems too often. thank you for sharing your journey, this makes me hopeful that I can get my skin back! really incredible that you have really good fading after only 2 treatments.
the first treatment I waited 8 weeks! the longer you wait the better the fading... this next one I am waiting 10 weeks in between (which is the longest I would wait) I get too anxious but Doc said we will achieve better results waiting! yes 6 weeks is too often (to me) the better the healing the better the results! so the longer you can wait the better!!
and goodluck on your journey! i used to get anxiety because I did the to myself but this app and community helped me tremendously! I felt like I was the only one with this problem, but it’s comforting knowing other people have gone through it and understand! if you have any questions don’t hesitate to message me! I love helping others on here because I know how it feels :-( thank God we have the technology now though to fix our mistakes and a community where we can help each other! I couldn’t have gotten through this without the app!
Have you had any intense itching?
nothing really too uncomfortable, for the first two weeks when it’s really trying to heal I get a little itchy but I think it’s because my skin peels, I would ask your dr If you are really conferenced

1 week post 2nd treatment

I’m trying to keep y’all updated as much as possible, and take it step by step. So here is a pic of a week and 3 days after my 2nd treatment. It’s a long journey but don’t give up hope! The dr I’m going to is so amazing and I feel like I am finally getting my life back. Finally seeing that light at the end of the tunnel! (P.S. sorry for the awful spelling I should really proof read these lol)

Good for you taylorn! I am using the enlighten as well and seeing amazing results. It is by far the superior laser in my research. Are they using any lidocaine injections on you b4 treatments?
sorry just now seeing this! and no, they ice it for 15 minutes, which helps me a lot! and I’m so happy for you! your pics look amazing and I am so excited to get to where you are now. and yes the Enlighten is amazing in my opinion as well

Fading

Results!!! I am so excited, it’s slowly but surely fading. Guys if you want to see real results regarding tattoo removal please do your research. I wasted so much time and money until I found the Enlighten laser. The laser is only half of the equation though, I would recommend going to a board certified dermatologist/dr. I am so blessed I found such an amazing dr only 40 minutes away from my home that offers the Enlighten! Will update more when fully healed
