I'm a mother of 3 in my late 30's and although I overall look younger than my age, I just couldn't take my eye bags (they're hereditary) that in my opinion have been increasingly noticeable over this year. I decided to treat myself and since I've never had a filler or plastic surgery prior, I did lots of consultations and research prior to making a decision on which procedure was best for me. Long story short, with my doctor's assistance I decided to go with fillers as it wasn't severe enough that I was willing to go under the knife. Pros: There was a noticeable difference with bare face, in pictures and when make up is applied. Cons: For the first week, I had lots of swelling and bruising so I had to try to use concealer to cover up and make excuses for my swollen face. Also, I wasn't accustomed to wearing so much concealer on a daily basis which was annoying/time consuming. I was in a panic initially but then after taking pics and sending to Dr. Parakh she assured me the healing was normal and to keep icing. In my research it seemed like 1 week was a long time but every one is different. The healing/swelling has now subsided and I look slightly refreshed, which was my goal. :)

Dr. Parakh so far has been one of the most sincere surgeons I've come across in my search. She is sweet, understanding, professional yet honest. I ultimately decided to go with her because in addition to all her positive qualities, her office manager Natasha is so amazing! Natasha is also very sweet and caring, and her turnaround time is magnificent! Any concerns or questions I've had after leaving the office I've addressed to Natasha and if she didn't know the answer or was unsure, she was sure to pass it on to Dr. Parakh in which I'd have a response swiftly. Service means a lot to me, especially since this is my first time getting a procedure done and both Natasha and Dr. Parakh made certain I was comfortable and addressed any concerns. So much so that I decided to schedule another procedure later this week. Trust me, I'm not becoming an addict as culturally for me this is a huge no-no but I have made the decision to fix 2 things that have been bothering me the most about my body and have made me uncomfortable creating insecurities. Honestly, I've just been waiting to find the right surgeon and it looks like I have! **** I just have to say that in addition, I made certain Dr. Parakh was board certified and also viewed comments about her on this sight as well as others. This is why I'm also leaving such a detailed review because it really helped me when narrowing down Dr.'s for consultations****
