I'm a mother of 3 in my late 30's and although I overall look younger than my age, I just couldn't take my eye bags (they're hereditary) that in my opinion have been increasingly noticeable over this year. I decided to treat myself and since I've never had a filler or plastic surgery prior, I did lots of consultations and research prior to making a decision on which procedure was best for me. Long story short, with my doctor's assistance I decided to go with fillers as it wasn't severe enough that I was willing to go under the knife. Pros: There was a noticeable difference with bare face, in pictures and when make up is applied. Cons: For the first week, I had lots of swelling and bruising so I had to try to use concealer to cover up and make excuses for my swollen face. Also, I wasn't accustomed to wearing so much concealer on a daily basis which was annoying/time consuming. I was in a panic initially but then after taking pics and sending to Dr. Parakh she assured me the healing was normal and to keep icing. In my research it seemed like 1 week was a long time but every one is different. The healing/swelling has now subsided and I look slightly refreshed, which was my goal. :)
