40 Years Old, Three Kids - Englewood, CO

I had been thinking about breast augmentation for a few years. Since the birth of my third child one breast always seems so empty and I wanted to regain volume. It just seemed so daunting to me since I had never had a surgery and it seemed so out of the box for me to actually spend this kind of money on myself. Anyway, I finally got up the courage to schedule a consultation with one doctor. I really liked him but just didn't have the feeling like I would actually go through with in once I left the office. A few months went by and I scheduled a consultation with Dr. Buford who I was referred to by a friend. It was such a great experience, I went in knowing I wanted a very modest implant that looked natural. I wanted to be able to "fly under the radar" so most people wouldn't notice I had a breast augmentation. Working with Astrid, one of Dr. Bufords coordinators, the sizing seemed perfect. After meeting Dr. Buford and talking about the procedure I left thinking wow I think I'm really gonna do this? Once I scheduled my surgery ( which was 5 days after my consultation) I became so excited nervous and scared to death. Luckily they got me in a week and a half so i didn't have to think too much about it for too long. I went in for my pre op and again had the best experience with Dr. Buford and his staff. He was so professional and just easy to talk to. He gave me a range of sizes that he would like to take into surgery. This kind of freaked me out because I was so hung up on what size cc I wanted. He told me to trust him. He also explained that he is very visual and wanted to see pictures of breast augmentations that I like. Everyone's idea of a cup size and natural are different. This was also reassuring to me because I did not want to be "too big". I told him I would rather be one of the people who wished they went too big than thought I went a little too big.
So, the next step was surgery day! The Renewal Surgery Center was amazing. Everyone put me at ease. I cannot say enough good things about the place. The receptionist, anesthesiologist and nurses were amazing!!!! Dr. Buford came back, drew on me, and we were ready to go. It felt like it was 10 minutes. I woke up and..."I had beautiful boobs" just like that. I got home, was able to walk around a little, and went to sleep. It was all kind of a blur. The next day I was up walking around and felt great. Had some pain but nothing terrible. Saturday night I took my pain medication and muscle relaxer and after that switched to extra strength tylenol. I even went to my sons game on Sunday and stood and cheered through the entire thing. It was such a breeze. I have felt better and better every day. I do still get a little zing in one of by breasts but I'm just under 2 weeks post op. Dr Buford is absolutely amazing! I can't wait to see how I look once my implants drop. They are still a little high so he believes in wearing a band and massage so I've been doing plenty of that. They are absolutely the prefect size and they look amazing. All I can say is what a pleasant experience this is been and thank you Dr. Buford for giving me "Beautiful Boobs" for the first time in my life!!!
