Dear Friends
I have been trying my best over the last 3 years to maintain my skin and slow down the ageing process most of my treatments have been Pelleve and Derma Pen also I have had the usual botox , I train 3-4 times a week and rarely go out in the sun for long periods but i normally have a some factor in my daily cream that helps , I have been getting treatment with Dr Mark Aszkenasy and his Aesthetic Therapist Julie the last 3 years and to be honest their is no other place I would want to go , I always get professional advice and take it onboard. Today I decided that I would have 25% TCA Chemical Peel and a Pelleve full face its been around 2 years since a had a Chemical Peel around my eyes and that was TCA 20% and I loved the results and the main reason I have not had another till now is due to my job and the downtime anyway I am going to post some pre op pictures and some pictures of the treatment I had to day and I hope the Community come in and ask any questions that i maybe be to answer thank you for taking time to have a read wishing everyone great recovery and results I will update regular

To be honest the last time i had one I was asleep so this time when Dr Mark was applying it I felt it straight away and I thought oh what have I done lol but it was bearable and also this was a well respected Doctor and I had total trust in him having had treatments with him nearly over the last 3 Years , I would not try this on my own especially at 25% hope this has helped

That's amazing. I'll do a review of it when I get it done. I'm getting a consultation with the dermatologist first to see whats best for me, in my case it would be to treat acne but stil nice result!

Hi Darren I've been through your post and your skin looks great. I'm just wondering where you went for this treatment. You have mentioned Dr Mark a lot but not where he works? Also I seen that you said you paid £250 for the procedure, were Dr Marks creams included in that? If not how much were they and would you recommend them?
And one final question, how much time would you recommend taking off work for this procedure? Is a week enough or is your skin still peeling at that point?

Dr Mark has his practice in Heaton near Newcastle which is in England just copy his name from the Blog and google it , the creams were not included in that price however they can be found on www.beautifulskin.co.uk
I cant recall exactly how much I paid as I got some discount for been a regular customer
I know the Protect Daily Moisturiser SPF 20 was great as i used it all within 7 days and the Treproline has really helped with the healing as well so I have to say yes the creams are worth it I have not used the Recovery Retinol Night Cream yet I have to wait another few days before i start that , I would say from my own experience 1 week is enough I was going out after 4 days and only bits of skin here and their but not very visible , I am a good healer so I have been told hope this answers your questions thanks for taking a look at the blog

Thank you so much for your reply Darren. I live in Newcastle hence the heightened interest. It's something I have been thinking of getting for a while now. I'm only 23 but years of sun damage have really taken their toll on my face and I think I'm too young to start with any injectables. It's going to be something I look at getting at the back end of the year, at a point where there will be no sun to hide away from! But I have made a note of the information you have given me to look into nearer the time.

If you look up Dr Marks practice or even call him you will not regret it I assure you , its my pleasure to give and pass on as much information as I can , sun damage is the big one that causes problems , I myself work abroad and also started with the Sunbeds it was so great having that tan till 1 day I woke up after only 3-4 hours sleep and it hit me I was looking older and that is when I started taking more care of my Skin , you have age on your side so take care of yourself and all the very best I started the Retinol Night Cream tonight Dr Mark said it was ok to start have a great day

I can order these peels on line from skin solutions... I tried on my legs first and had good results. I'm going for the face next but start with one application low percentage and work. I also order retin a On line with great results no prescription needed and very inexpensive!

Thank you for your comments I also use the Retina , a just would not try this by myself with Dr Mark am only 15 minute drive from his place and anything a need he will take care of it which puts me at ease have a great sunday

24 hours Post Op Swelling and Redness

Hi Friends
Well thats the first 24 hours over I still have some swelling around the eyes and also a couple of small darker patches near the jawline , applying creams as suggested by Dr Mark we have had contact this morning as per our after patient care plan of action , will update tomorrow wishing everyone great recovery and growth with their treatments
