WORTH IT
I've been doing full body laser for almost 5 years now and my hair has gone worse than ever!! Went in for a session religiously every 4-6 weeks.
Before laser my facial hair was light fluffy and blonde with only 2 or 3 black hairs on my chin and a bit of side burns and now I'm left with a beard and depression :(
After researching and reading reviews I have decided to give electrolysis a try.. I have a consultation and patch test today, hope all goes well and I'll keep you updated so no one does the same mistake I did.

How did the electrolysis go?
Today is my third session, been going every week since my consultation for 1 hour each session.. still haven't seen results gonna give it a bit of time.. My electrologist is professional I didn't experience any pain at all just a bit uncomfortable in areas where the hair is thick and strong
It happened to me too. After 2 sessions with laser I stopped. In fact, laser can stimulate other hair follicles on your skin, so more hair growths. I’m trying now electrolysis, had already about 8 sessions and it seems to work. But now I have noticed that it leaves scars on the skin, like acne scars! Is this possible after electrolysis? How did the electrolysis go for you?
Me too! I did 12 laser sessions. The aesthetician offered to do my upper lip for free a few times, and I thought I was getting a deal,...,meanwhile, little did I know by her treating my lip the hairs only grew thicker, which made me buy more sessions. By the time I gave up on laser I had thick terminal hairs sprouting out of my cheeks too!
Now I'm doing Electrolysis. The hair growth is stagnant after 7 sessions, I'm pleased. However, I'm now left with tiny little holes where the hairs once were. They're all over my chin, not so noticeable on my upper lip. I have sensitive skin, I did Accutane 5 years ago,....I'm not sure if that increased my skin sensitivity. I'm embarrassed by the little holes, they're in the pattern of a beard,...I see peopl stare at my chin. I don't know what to do.
I've read the holes go away after a year of healing. I'm worried I'll have this awful textural issue forever.

Electrolysis went well for me, I started with 1 hour session every week I now go for 30 minutes every 2 weeks.. I can see a very big difference since I first started.. as for the holes I noticed a few but not that visible, just hope it doesn't get worse by the time I finish my sessions.
Would love to know where you went for treatments, Im looking for a good recommendation!

I go to Clinica Fiore in Covent Garden. Ask for Marina she is really good im her client... Tried Mary twice she is also very good.

It should be criminal for them to use a laser on blonde hair. It can't possibly remove it, and can potentially stimulate growth.
Hi ladies, I know I've been away for a while but just wanted to do a quick update... Well electrolysis went really well for me but I also noticed that after I got pregnant and had a baby 95% of my facial hair that was caused by previous laser has now gone... Im not really sure whether it was the electrolysis or my hormones are back to normal now.. overall my experience with electrolysis was great and im not left with scars, so go for it ladies and make sure you pick a good therapist xx
