Hi guys Im just going to re-cap what happened...

Hi guys
Im just going to re-cap what happened with my Botox experience. I don't feel like I have very lined skin but due to some recent harsh life experiences I thought ( probably not realistically ) that the pain showed on my face. I wanted to erase that with the help of Botox. The treatment is not as well known or widespread where I live here in the North of England ( think Cheryl Cole, accent and you have it ( if you know her that is ). Anyway I told no-one apart from my eldest daughter that I was going to have it done. I thought I had done all the research that I needed and excitedly went to the clinic.. The therapist was friendly enough but even though she knew I was a novice she didn't go into much detail at all ( I had to ask all the questions, ie. will it bruise etc. Before I knew it I had my injections and was then ejected very swiftly from the chair . Apart from a few odd dots of my face all seemed ok. I did all the things I had to do but to cut a long story short the treatment did not work for me. I contacted the therapist some weeks later and she begrudgingly asked my to visit her again.. She was trying to say that I had done something to prevent Botox from working and she did not usually do follow ups ???? She reluctantly did the process again and I was out of the chair within 3 minutes! She did not give me a chance to ask about the strange yet quite violent headaches I had been having and whether they were connected. So I looked on the net and found this great site which gave me understanding and help! The second treatment still did not have any affect on my lines but the headaches persisted for over two months. I am happy to say they have gone now. If there was another 'line eraser' I could have other than botox I might go down that route. However I think it is unlikely I will go with it again. Sorry for the long winded story. Im sure we all have our own reasons for using Botox for cosmetic reasons. I feel deeply for those who have it for health reasons and it makes me feel guilty for being so vain. But on the other hand I know I am not alone for wanting to preserve my youthfulness as far as poss. All is left for me to say is I pray you all will be lifted from that 'veil' of pain induced by Botox and that God blesses you victoriously x

Not enough time spent before or after treatment with advice. She said because I had the treatment on 'special offer price' that she did not do follow ups! Treatment was unsuccessful
