Endoscopic Lip Lift (Incision Inside the Nose)

I had a lip lift 4 weeks ago. The incisions were made going inside the nose with 2 on the outside the corners of my nose. I was told that this would be better because it has less scars showing. but now my nostrils are wider and you can see inside my nose kinda like a piggy look!! my nose has changed completely. is there anyway I can fix this? the sill and alar base are totally destroyed. i’m really depressed about this every time I look in the mirror it’s like someone else.

You look beautiful! I think it might take some getting used to but that is actually the ideal nose in our culture.
There is a few types of lip lift procedures, had the doctor told me that the type he was using with change my nose I think I would’ve opted out and used other types but this has literally ruined my life and I’ve become so depressed. Everybody that sees me automatically notice a change in my nose they don’t even notice the lips. The sad part of all the says is I kept asking the doctor with this change my nose and he kept reassuring me that it had nothing to do with the nose, but now I know it changes the nose extremely since it’s going inside the nose ☹️but thank you so much for your kind words!!
I’m so sorry you are going through this. I had a lip lift that totally altered my nose so I understand what you might be going through mentally. I can say that you are still very beautiful and I think your results will look good but the change can be shocking. I am 9 months post op myself. It does get easier with time. Right now you are so early and I’m sure you feel shocked. I think everything is going to work out.

Hi girl, my incision was totally asymmetric. My surgeon cut into one of my sills and below the other one. I am actually getting a revision to raise the other side in two weeks. My nose was swollen for 6 months. I don’t mean to discourage you but it can take a long time. I thought my nose would look like that forever but it did shrink up. I would say that it has the original shape now but some minor differences because she removed my right sill.
You're gorgeous!! I had a lip lift 2 years ago & it took me about 9 months to really adjust. I'm so happy I did it now! I hope that as you heal & adjust you ultimately love your results too. For what it's worth, I think your results are stunning!

You are GORGEOUS. I do not see anything wrong with your nose, except that it is soooo cute. Your lip lift was the icing on the cake. It just finishes off your face perfectly. I had a LL too and initially I thought it changed my nostrils, but after 6 months the swelling dissipated and I LOVED MY NEW LIPS.
