Eye Bags Treated in 1 Hour with Fillers

I wanted to see Dr. Persky because of his comments on RealSelf about treatment of eye bags using fillers (Restylene for tear troughs and voluma for cheeks) instead of blepharoplasty. His staff was really nice and took a couple of photos and then I saw Dr. Persky, who said he could definitely help me with fillers. In fact, he could do it the same day which was awesome. It was not even that painful. He has a nurse apply ice to the opposite side of the face that he is injecting to distract from the pain. It worked really well. Once I could see the result in a mirror I was floored! No more eye bags! In 1 hour! I have a few little spots of bruising and swelling, but with concealer I feel like I can go out in public, so basically no down time. I definitely recommend this procedure to anyone with eye bags, it looks SO good! He recommends a touch up in 4-5 months. He also said he can touch up sooner if I think there are any areas that are uneven, but today it looks perfect. I am so happy.

After I posted the review I noticed some bruising and some raised lumps under the bruises. I was worried that there were spots with too much filler. But all of the lumps went away in a few days. The bruises remained for 9 days, but I could cover them with concealer. Finally now 9 days after the procedure the bruises are almost completely gone, there are only 2 left and they are very light yellow, not green anymore. I am still very happy with the result but I think I will go back for the touch up to get a little more filler added. I am glad he was conservative and it may just need a little more vs. if he had added too much. It still could change as it is not 2 weeks post procedure yet.
