I wanted to let all others know about the importance of asking questions and finding an experienced PS. I had a bbl 12/2014, from that day I was in serious pain, I feel my doctor was little help in finding out what was causing the pain. In 2016 I went to my PCP and I had necrosed fat and tissue removed. Apparently the area was over grafted injuring my piriformis muscle and causing serious nerve and joint pain. Now to reduce the pain I do piriformis stretch exercises three times a day, which at times can be inconvenient. If you had a bbl and are experiencing pain in the buttocks this could be the problem. Got to your PCP get help don't live in pain!

I am almost positive I have this as well. I have been in pain since about 8 months after my bbl. The pain radiates in my right butt check, all down my right leg. It flares every few months badly.

I had bbl in sept 18. 2 days after sx I got a lump on my right cheek at the top. I assume it was an infection. The lump is still slightly noticeable. The pain went after a few days with antibiotics. Several months later I get a severe pain in the same cheek, but deep in the tissue. Feels like sciatica. Oml it makes me cry. I have only experienced this 4x since surgery. And it comes with my period cycle. I'm investigating and researching if it's from the bbl. :-(
